While the person who posted the link clearly didn't read the article, or understand the past tense of the English language, you could have at least tried to read the second paragraph before making wild guesses. Here it is, emphasis mine:

Republicans are running quite a scam.

They are going to vote on this tax plan before Doug Jones gets seated.

But in 2009, they forced the ACA reconciliation vote to be held after Ted Kennedy was replaced by a Republican. They pushed the vote until Scott Brown was seated in January.

And of course, February 2016 was too late in Obama's second term to hold a vote on Merrick Garland for Supreme Court.

Again, why does lame duck Luther Strange of Alabama get a vote on this major tax legislation?

The biggest tax boost for most Americans comes in 2018.

Enticing people to vote Republican in 2018.

Then they will cut programs in 2019 - because the debt, you know.

Then, down the road, most tax rates will revert up, setting up another fiscal cliff and bitter fighting.

And that's how they are about to pass major legislation that has 30% approval rating among Americans nationwide.

It's a huge win for the wealthy because so many don't pay attention long enough to see the pernicious effect of redistributing wealth to the wealthy. No one remembers when Obama wanted to spend money to restart the Bush/Clinton banking debacle, it was the end of the world.

Once again, Republicans are perfectly happy to spend the taxpayer's money on their pet projects, crush a middle class, and pass the debt onto their children. This "tax plan" is ample evidence of that.

Well...sort of. He said before the election that he would eventually release his tax returns and that he would be "proud" to because he makes a lot of money. He was voted in with all of us know that he didn't release his taxes, but he did say he would do it and then later said he wouldn't.
