Hey I will go away but that tool Racer1 keeps responding to my comments. I think I made it clear I would go away when he stopped responding. He is too stupid to understand that. It has always been very funny to me when people think they are doing one thing and really are doing something completely different.

Well of course he is going to reply. After all, this is his thread, as his hundreds of posts here show.

I think an awful lot of posts here should be deleted, including yours and mine.

I agree completely with you. Mnay posts on this thread hould be deleted. This thread has become nothing more than a way for Renato to post his own views on politics. He has done little as of late to show any of the training of his athletes. Nobody would miss Racer1's posts either. He hasn't put much as far as thought into many of his posts.

Honestly if you read most of Racer1's posts he is just attacking or fighting with people on this thread that disagree with his one sided views on training. He never really shows any logic or evidence behind his views. He is like a small child that when called out just says because or so and so said so it must be right. This is why I am here to seek out prey on this worthless bastard Racer1. Who is he anyway, a nobody hack that probably could break 5 minutes for a mile and has way too much time on his hands as evidenced by many thoughtless posts on this thread.

sucka busta, anyone who can read would respond to insults as provocative as yours. I want to see someone spend a page attacking you and have you not respond. You have managed to insult both Renato and Racer, people who have spent time on this discussion and made good offerings. As for posting real names, you are the first person I have ever heard of whose name is "sucka busta." To live up to your own standards, I will assume this is your real name. Many posters do not wish to give personal information because stalkers like you will mess with them, but "Racer1" or "trackhead" are people who post frequently so we know who they are. I now will second (or 17th or 100th) the other posters' requests and ask that you leave, because you are an idiot and have contributed nothing.

Anyway I have question pertaining to the point at which one calls it a lactate threshold run. I know that Daniels say that it is the pace you can hold for an hour in race. But how does one determinne that on a daily basis for training runs. I would imagine that if one raced on any given day for an hour it would vary in distance. I know Marius has used a lactate monitoring device. I was wondering how that can be calculated using that tool? What would that mearsurement of lactate be on a scale?

daniels is talking about the anaerobic threshold, which well conditioned athletes can hold for close to an hour and less fit guys can hold for around 50 minutes. For a rough guideline, use his "t" pace or convert your 5k/10k to a half marathon, and then subtract about 3-5s a mile.
