No, we keep alternating between Options 1 and 3. Option 2 was tried but to no affect.But the evidence is virtually insurmountable (we've had a race DQ) for Option 4 to be on the cards.

Here is some math based on some recent data from one of her own crew members (Daniel Santos-Costa) who actually does look like he is a runner, both marathons and ultras.

3:30 marathon/8:00 min miles (numerous 3:30 marathons the past few years)
25 hour 100-mile (recent PM race)/15:00 min miles
24 hour 100-mile (Keys 100)/14:24 min miles
These times and paces are typical for what the is known and acceptable.
Difference is 6-7 min per mile. This is based on real data. Yes, a real runner, that runs both competitive marathons and 100 mile ultras. Not some made up name, but some guy that appears to be in her inner circles. His numbers fit with what most of us know about the pace differential.
So, don't give me this crap about PM being in the acceptable range of 3 min per mile between her marathon and 100 mile paces. That is complete crap coming out of your mouth.
Not only that, but leading up to her unbelievable weekend of:
5/3/13AM marathon 5:00:00 (great perfect even time)
5/3/13PM marathon 5:45:00 (great perfect even time)
5/4/13 100 MILER 23:00 (great perfect even time)
5/5/13 marathon 7:00:00 (great perfect even time)
she was running marathons/ultras (two a day some weekends***) for weeks/months either side of this magnificent weekend (see athlinks link below).
So this would make Steve's assertion regarding acceptable differentials between marathon and hundo even more unbelievable considering lack of taper/recovery before and after, in fact totally unbelievable.

Thanks, didn't really do much in the way of research, after I saw the post from 'crap coming out of your mouth' I was curious to see what she'd done either side of the phenomenal 23 hour hundo weekend and the dual and quad weekends just stuck out like dogs balls.
It just gets more and more bizarre, but I'm guessing there's more phenomenal performances there for others to find.

I am not using an alias. Thanks. I have not ran any of Parvaneh's Iran Marathon Series in Texas. I befriended her on Facebook because she seemed to be an apparently prolific runner and record holder. And, a graduate of Oregon State University, like three of my four younger brothers. I was at the finish line of the Badwater Ultra Marathon this year. I ran a small section down and up between Lone Pine and Whitney Portal. I was there to (encourage) Ed Ettinghausen (who reminded me to not run too near as I was not an official pacer). I was curious about Parvaneh's participation as she was then a FB friend. I am not an ultra runner, but I am thoroughly convinced an impropriety occurred because I just don't see understand what badwater runners who make the accusation cannot benefit if it is false. I dont buy into some of the weird conspiracy theories. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Yes Ed is a top notch guy for sure! had the pleasure of spending many miles with him on the course in Silverton this past weekend, and this thread briefly came up during that time. It's obvious PM is a fraud. I'm not sure about LM. I know he's legitimately run a couple races we have run here in Oklahoma. Some people want to lump all Marathon Maniacs into one category...that is not fair at all, as the overwhelming majority of us are legit.
