I'm sure you know this, but don't seem too eager. Let her know that whatever happens, you have options. In reality, you do have options because there are plenty of other women out there.
Text her back tonight or Monday, set up a meeting in some nice uncrowded lounge for the weekday, but not the weekend. Make sure it is decently close to your place.
I don't think you have to play the same texting game as everybody else. With the right amount of confidence, assertive, and "nothing to lost attitude," you can make anything work for you.

By definition a triathlete can't be alpha because he's a failure at three individual sports. Bottom of the barrel.
A failure at the 3 sports ? Last I checked the American record holder in the mile is now a triathlete.

I am going to keep it real simple. Real short text, nothing too long. Texts allow for 160 characters. I want to use 60-80 max, say a quick "sorry about last night", say something intriguing and/or funny and finally ask a short but meaningful question that invites a quick reply.

This was very entertaining other than the male/female notes. So, thanks for that. As for the story, you are celebrating about taking four hours to not get a date.
Look buddy, the perfect opportunity will never come up. Just go in and make a general comment about something she is doing and then just start talking about yourself. It'll work everytime.
