The top Americans including Popehn (and top Brit as well) hit 5k in 16:24. 2:18:24 pace
At 10k, top two women have separated – 32:08. It’s Feysa (ETH) and Shauri (TAN)
Top two women of Feysa (ETH) and Shauri (TAN) hit 10k in 32:08 (2:15:35 pace). Taye and Alemu are 32:15. Popeh, Makenna Myler, and Hauger-Thackery of GBR are 33:11 which is 2:20:01 pace so Popehn is doing exactly what she wanted.
