Friday was YESTERDAY! You're so insistent on trying to pretend you're a fake coach that you can't even get your days straight. Stop posting lies and get a life you idiot!
Y’all weren’t hearing it. I knew Vandegrift was legit. They’ve been missing their number two all year. Granted, Bridgeland’s fourth and fifth guys didn’t really perform as expected today.

But they'll have another shot at NXR. One of the nice things about our sport.
Really impressive performances all around today. Our state is better than it's given credit for nationally.

I guess Round Rock is short? Caden went 14:42 and Southlake doesn't taper.
Most of the athletes from District 4 ran 45 seconds or more slower at state than they did at District with just a couple of exceptions. District 4 was short. Anyone who came within 15 to 20 seconds of their district time at state ran exceptionally well.
After Covid, some new TX teams like Vandegrift started coming up. Props to them for getting second, with 2 sophomores and 2 freshmen. They have a few sophs on top JV too, so look for this program to keep fighting for that state title.
And the South region has competitive out-of-state teams too now. Like Bentonville and Jesuit
This is correct. Not short at all and if anything, it is a bit long. Fantastic racing weather and course conditions made for fastest times since 2019, and course was a bit different in 2019 as well.

Ive seen over 15 GPSs. 3.16 is the average I took. Mode is the same.
That's about right overage with typical non-tangent running.
These were all from preview days but you can't really veer off due to the fencing over most of the course. It's a legit 5k. Leonard is just that good.
well then going back, the Southlake course really wasn't as short as you tried to say... considering Round Rock is "3.16", more turns, less hard, and a few hills. tried to tell you back then that Caden really is that good.
What was the average team time for the teams that ran at District 4-6A and also ran at State? I'm betting the difference is close to 45 seconds.
If GPS is measuring 3.16, then it's probably safe to say it would wheel at 3.11-3.12 if you did the tangents. Many athletes ran PRs at state this weekend, just not the ones from Southlake's district.
Also, 2019 was way short at State. I saw many measure it to just under or just over 3.00 on GPS. It's a shame those are recognized as records.

The difference was the weather and effort.
I could do a deep dive but everyone know the Bon whatever course is flat and fast and maybe a wee bit short or has no tangent possibilities. Why is this an issue? Nobody is taking away from Southlake's dominance yesterday.
Gosh, looking back at the results... what has happened to the Woodlands?
End of a dynasty ever since the father retired?
When did he retire? They made NXN in 2019 and won state in 2017&2018. Runner-ups in 2021, podium in 2022.
This has nothing to do with Juris. There are more quality coaches and programs now than in the 90s and 00s. Back then it was Green, Simpson, Gnatzig & Telaneus on the majority classification level.
It is more competitive now. The internet era afforded many coaches the opportunity to learn and grow. There is nothing wrong with The Woodlands.

You took away from Caden and Kai's District performance among others on the Southlake course, now you were proved way wrong. Just admit it, facts, nothing personal.
