Will Leer did commentary on some smaller meet earlier this year and was great, I'm glad he's on here. I wish the first few days were on Peacock but honestly the presentation here is much better
The USATF video player is awful. Don't bother trying to rewind on desktop. Maybe it's better on mobile but on desktop the toggling controls are basically useless.

I agree. I wonder about folks bitching over a $13 ask where you can watch all the heats, the 10K finals, quality commentary & support the governing body. I am very critical about the way usatf chooses to go about its business but I still feel it’s valuable - important even - to support the sport. If we want a better product we need to vote with our $s. This was significantly better than the coverage of GST.
Let's go back to the 80s and 90s when there was 4 rounds at the trials for the 800. Think about that.... How about doubling the 5 and 10. Two rounds of the 10 followed by 3 rounds of the 5. With the first round of the 5 the DAY AFTER the 10 final. You had to be tough.

The coverage is good, and no commercials. Announcers are good and there on merit, not name value. 13 feels steep but can’t complain otherwise.
Currently on ESPN2 is streamers competing in T&F. This is 100% on USATF just not wanting to take whatever peanuts they were offered by a real network & choose to nickel & dime their most loyal fans. This is a joke. If every meet was on USATF then fine but there are a million different streaming services out there. Not picking up one more, even to watch my favorite sport. This is what's killing the sport. Back yourself & your product. If the racing is good & people tune in then you can renegotiate for bigger future deals. Having a small # of loyal fans buy a one time streaming service is shortsighted for a small amount of revenue & doesn't move the needle. If this was on tv at least random people would have it on.
