Because he's not in love and has limited experience with women.
He pictures a 76 year old as the average 76 year old he's familiar with.
My brother at 76 (now) wouldn't look good with a 40 year old. He's your typical "old man".
But a lot of us over 60 are typically "old looking" men in the face & hair dept. Even those of us middle-aged/seniors that stay in great shape through working out & sound nutritional habits still look old in the face. It is what it is with aging.
Good looks is transitory & declines with aging. I was an above-average looking dude with a good face & great hair back in my 20s (64 now). Now I'm losing my hair, my face is pretty wrinkly & leathery from years of sun damage, my ear lobes are droopy & my neck skin is starting to sag. Lol. All compliments of aging! I would need a hair transplant & some serious facial work in an effort to look younger & better.
You brag how look 30 or so yrs younger than your age & have great aging genetics. Maybe...but I'm skeptical to a certain degree. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, 62 yr old Tom Cruise can easily pass for mid-40s. But Cruise has had a hair transplant. And according to some plastic surgeons examining his images over the years, they say he's had a lot of facial work as well 😎 And the same with many other Hollywood celebs that we could discuss.
How do I know you haven't had a hair transplant & some facial work done? Just because you say you haven't on an anonymous discussion forum doesn't mean anything (who would have thought). You say people have said you look like that "Dominic" character on White Lotus? Well, I can see what he looks like but I have no idea what you look like. And even if you posted a pic of yourself here, there's no way of authenticating it - you could be posted a pic of someone else. 😉
You only know what I'm telling you and there is no reason to think I'm not being honest because of the nature of the thread. If I was lying would I say how short and lightweight I am?
I'm lucky in the genetics department. When I was in high school my girl friends all thought my father was HOTTTTT. I thought it was gross, he's my father!!
I have aged very well. People typically say that they think I'm 45-48 because my hair is mostly white. If I dyed it, I'd look 40.
You can choose to think I'm lying but that's pointless. For the most part this is an interesting post.

As far as my size- my GF could wear my clothes. She ran a 5k once and she wore a pair of my running tights and a cold gear top.
She'd put one of my shirts on to wear around the house.
I'm not saying that I'm a stud by any means. I just talked about my experience.
Take it or leave it.
To the young guys- take care of yourself. Healthy diet, grooming, stay young. I only ran about 50 mpw +/-. I think that higher mileage ages you (men and women).

The bottom line is- to each his/her own.
The main reason she and I aren't together now are outside forces. A large group of misogynistic, pick up driving, over drinking and over eating men who are 20 year younger but look and act older than me.
She's afraid of her family's reaction and us having to deal with it.
Seriously? It's two people who love each other who are apart because of cultural "norms" and jealousy.
You obviously use it to puff up your ego, big guy.

I'm giving facts and I've listed my "shortcomings" and believe me, my ego is at an all time low losing this latest woman. I honestly thought I found someone to spend forever with.
I feel like crap and remember- we kept our relationship mostly a secret even though we went out in public together. It's not like people think I'm a stud, big guy.
You think "bragging" about it to a bunch of anonymous message board posters boosts my ego? LOL
Yes, it's amazingly obvious. Keep acting a fool, it's really none of my concern and I don't feel you owe me an explanation or anything else. If it was "just the facts" then you would have told it once and left it at that. You keep revisiting it ad nauseam which certainly suggests you're clinging to something about it that does something for you. The bird of paradise alights only upon the hand that does not grasp.

It's part of the discussion. If you don't like it you can just ignore it.
I don't see what your issue is.
But I'm sure you'll down vote and give some kind of useless reply.

Tom Cruise is 5'7" & on the lighter side, so I don't think your height & weight is that big of a deal. You say you're lean with a six-pack - that will have more of an impact with women than your lack of height will.
Cruise neither denies nor confirms that he's had a hair transplant or facial work. However, he talks like you that he's "aged very well." Not without some cosmetic work though. 😉
Of course it pointless if skeptical claims can't be proven on anonymous discussion forum. But I do agree your stories with hot, young women are interesting to listen to.

But you already said you're are lean with very low BF & a six-pack, and that women find this physique more attractive than the "bodybuilder" type physique.
This I agree with you because with my bodybuilder physique, I get more compliments from guys at the gym than women. Lol. Only on the dating apps where for some strange reason I seem to be a magnet for women in their 70s (almost 10 yrs older than me) who say they like my "muscleman" physique as I remind them of old BFs they had in HS & college. Lol.
