I also want to point out that both Dana Hills and San Clemente ran the 6th and 8th fastest team times ever at Woodward. Who’s in front of them?

That’s pretty rarified company to be with and wouldn’t be surprised to see Dana and San Clemente both be in the top four.
Woodward is a new course year after year and was super fast and short this year. Woodward is a joke of a meet and needs to go away.
Lool you’re a joke for thinking and confusing Woodbridge with the WOODWARD park.

Your confused on course names. I think you mean Woodbridge.
"When my high school qualified they had to wear the name of our city which happens to be the name of our cross-town rival high school"
This makes sense looking at the list of entries. They are all city names.
Still - the "Don't wear your Club Merch" declaration is puzzling.
Did your team qualify? If so which one and congrats! Nike will provide the runners with all the items and merch they need to compete and warm up in. Trust me, the merch is top notch. It was when I competed and it’s only gotten better since then. Also to put it in perspective, it’s kinda insulting to the sponsor aka Nike that they will supply all the items you need and instead you end up wearing other merch and brands at their event.
"Trust me, the merch is top notch"
Did you see the singlets/shorts last year? Really hoping Nike steps up their game for this year. My singlet from when I went to NXN is still to this day one of my most prized possessions. I know many runners last year were super disappointed when they saw their jerseys.

Oh I got mine in 08. That’s a bummer if the quality has gone down.
professional runners go out to run the woodward park course every year. Estrada broke the record in 2022.
“I tell people 14:27 is not a soft record. That’s the equivalent of like a 13:44 on the track,” said Estrada. “That means I set a big, ambitious goal. Ten seconds under that was a 32-[year-old compared to an 18-year-old, I’ll take it now.”

They need to get a real professional measuring team to go out to woodbridge to measure the distance and publish it. Everyone's strava watches got more than 3 miles, but that's not enough to convince people. I bet it's longer than Detweiller(2.976) for sure. Once a professional team goes out to measure it, then people will finally stop talking about woodbridge.

Detweiler is 3.01 on the money…. and oh btw it’s on grass….. And the exact same course since the 60’s. Maybe Detweiler should move to the parking lot of the shopping center west of the park so we can run downhill last mile at 4:20 and call it impressive.

Dana Hills 7th?
#1 is on par with Aaron Sahlman, #3 is on par with Seymour and #5 is better than Cantu (Cantu was fastest #5 at NXN last year).
How do you get 7th with that?
Sane for San Clemente. 6th?
Their #3 is faster than Dana Hills and their #5 is on par with Dana Hills. Their #1 is not as good as Dana Hills, but he is a sub 15 guy
Arguably, both (2023) San Clemente and Dana Hills could have won NXN last year.
I may be totally wrong, but I don’t understand why California teams are being ranked so low.
