Am I the only one who doesn't think his English is that bad? I don't think his commentary s amazing, but no one else's is either. People trying to cover their xenophobia with "arguments" are the worst. Just say you don't like accents and call it a day.

Actually, I vow to keep the ESPN broadcast for as long as possible so I can note how bad it is.
Can we note down time stamps of the worse aspects of it so I can make a lowlight clip about this broadcast, which I can put up on youtube, and that will accompany my final column on Letsrun as I'll be finally cancelled by the PC police?

Not the accent. He's not adding much at all. Anderson is having a very tough time playing off on him. Tough day here for Anderson.

ABC commentators talking about Marcel Hug reminds me of that scene in Office Space when one of the Bobs gushes about Michael Bolton. For my money, he's the best!

The 10k split of 34:45 for the women is 2:25:54 pace. In 2021, when Peres Jepchirchir missed the course record by 8 seconds the 10k split was even slower 35:02.
bI was going to say I think the course record will go, But maybe I should take that back I they just said 5:57 for mile 7 and mile 8 5:38 for the women. 5:57 is really really slow.102 -

No one goes into journalism or TV with the intention of covering marathons. The quality you get is the quality you get. When will people get this?
