LMFAO... though as a fan of track & field, I'd like nothing more than for one of its biggest (former?) stars to, you know, do her job... and RACE. And maybe, by RACING, she'd show some gratitude for the sport that has given these * other * opportunities in stand dancing and "modeling"
I honestly can believe that Bobby entered her for the meet without telling her with no intention of getting her to run and then pulled her out just to make people mad and/or build up more suspense for the championships.
Kersee said he’s not putting anyone in a race they’re not ready for.
He shouldn't be surprised that she isn't ready when he doesn't tell her that she's entered a race.
That's if you actually believe her. If she's telling the truth then she should drop him like a hot potato. That's not a coach you want to deal with. Her agent must be furious about all this negative publicity
If she does run, which I suspect she will because Coach Kersee is a serious person...I don't think he would say Mu is running the 1500 if she wasn't. I also don't think believe Mu/Kersee would enter the event unless she is at least capable of being competitive. I would not be surprised if she runs 4 + low single digits and several seconds faster the next time. Mu was about 3/4 of the way to a fast 1500m at an indoor meet a year ago and bailed on the effort. I am almost certain she bailed because she was shocked by the cardiovascular stress which is different from the 400/800. I think she was hurting, knowing she had nearly 2 laps and was probably not going to win unnerved her. She looked ok and could have done well, if she had just hung on in the way true milers know how to do. With that said, Athing was a 1500m legend in age-group track and was a pretty decent XC runner as well, she is certainly capable if she is training properly.

You actually believe that Mu flew halfway across the country but didn't know she was entered in a race? You aren't too smart.
She also states in the same interview that "we" had a great training session and things are looking good. What?? We?? Kersee is there training you yet doesn't tell you that he entered you in a race? This is all big Bullsht. And sorry, but how is it that we all knew she was in a race, but she didn't....I have lost all respect

I hope this is your attempt at a joke. Because I would hate to think that you didn't realize Mu didn't actually run.
