The article was initially entiteld, "Zane Robertston!!!!" but we changed it to make it more descriptive. Here is our article on his bust and fake excuses (he said he went to a hospital for a COvid-19 vaccine but they gave him EPO instead) which points out that in 2016 he expressed frutation at the amount of doping in the sport:
Funny enough, we actually talked about doping when I ran with him and he had mentioned that while living in Kenya, he had seen many pro's including Asbel Kiprop, use EPO. He swore that he never used it and I'd like to believe that he was clean when I met him. I
This is why I don't like people like him. First, why would Asbel Kiprop use EPO in front of him? They were never friends. They never hanged out. And after 2016, he was shunned by many Kenyan athletes.
This guy was always wearing some type of rage and given to talking out of his behind.
Can you name a New Zealand distance runner who was popped for doping?
Lol are you kidding man we are literally in a thread about a New Zealand doping bust
You are impressively thick. The question was in the context of New Zealand's participation in the sport over the decades and no New Zealand runner before Robertson that I am aware of has been busted for doping.

The post you obviously didn't read to the end.
"Running has been a feature in New Zealand sport since Lovelock. Can you name a New Zealand distance runner who was popped for doping? Robertson went to Kenya because doping is part of their sports culture. We have seen that about them. His bust confirms it."(quote)

You have told us ad nauseam that they are all doing it whether they get caught or not so you cannot have you cake and eat it too.
Liza Marie Hunter-Galvan (born 25 June 1969 in Auckland) is a long-distance runner from New Zealand. She qualified to run the Women's Marathon in both the 2004 Athens Olympic Games as well as the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She re...
To me this totally tarnishes jakes reputation and makes me highly suspicious he is on the sauce too. At the very least there is no way he had no clue his brother was doing this? Idk if there are rules about it but if he knew his brother was doing but didn’t come forward he should also get a ban. Glad he hasn’t been able to get a shoe contract.

No he went there because many of the worlds best train in Kenya. Few do in New Zealand. People dope in New Zealand:
We know you are guilty of confirmation bias but this one is egregious.
40% of the suspected cases involve rugby - the country's national game. Many of the others include schoolboys. The drugs are chiefly steroids. There are no Olympians believed to be involved. However lax drug control may have been recently the fact remains that no distance runners have been busted in the country's sporting history.
Wow. Was it him or Jake or both who condemned the prevalence of doping in Kenya? He or they were right but what a hypocrite! How do you go around for years prating about the ills of racing dopers and then join them (or maybe always be one of them?)? Eight years sounds much deserved with the cover-up.
The worst part is people instantly trusted them because they're white. What I remember is Zane was always the angrier of the two. Clashing with villagers and even accusing Eliud Kipchoge (who he doesn't know) of age-cheating, claiming EK was 44 back in 2016 (tweet is still up on his account).

I gave you one. Why would there only be doping in the most popular sport? Individuals dope everywhere.

Further, in the era when doping was much less prevalent in the sport, Lydiard trained the best runners in the world in New Zealand. They didn't need to go to Kenya to train. That is for dopers.

But some clearly more than others. Your confirmation bias about Kenya is showing. I'm still waiting for you to name all those Kiwi runners busted for doping since the '60's.
Barely 1% of Kenyan elites have been busted. Of the top of my head, only three kiwi distance elites come to mind: Willis and the Robertson twins. Meaning the doping rate for NZ is a staggering 33% 👀
