But I think she'll just do enough to win and probably put like a 2 second gap on the field at around the 800 mark and then just cruise to a three or four second win
Maybe she finds a little more competition in the 3K from fresh legs but still is able to cruise to a 2 second win
You were right. I'm shocked they all ran for 2nd. Now Tuohy really can do dmr, we'll see if it happens.
if she is feeling good, that was basically a tempo run for her. very smart. will be no worse for wear next race.
Great tactics- conservative pace since she has never run in altitude and also saves effort for the 3k which may have more competition and some fresh runners. Not to mention the slow pace kept her teammates close enough for both to score. Another great run!
Olemomoi had the fastest final 200m, 33.66. Nice win by Tuohy, closer than I thought it would be though.
she doesnt rub the win on her opponents faces.. when the race is already a sure win, she just cruises and doesnt hammer it... shes always like that and thats being a smart and humble runner

Tuohy won by 1.43 seconds. It didn't look like Chelangat and Olemomoi were just running for second, they tried to cover the move.
I guess we will see if she makes an appearance in the dmr. Based on the post race interview I doubt it.
