5-Oaks
6-Newbury Park
Pretty clear top 4 score wise. Will just need to see how many get out of California this year. Doesn't feel like a 4 team year but who knows.

Looks like San Clemente ran faster than Granada at every position except #1 and #5
So in the merge it will probably be
Newbury Park-Great Oak-San Clemente-Granada
Granada’s 2 and 3 were closer to #1 at Hoka than they were here
Singh was their #2 at the beginning of the season. Kind of a sign they weren’t peaking here. Doesn’t bode so well for an at-large. I think the last spot for an at large will be between downers grove, dowling catholic and Granada

Has Campolindo or JSerra girls team ever been to NXN before?

D2 looking like the strongest division time wise for the girls. Could see both NP and Los Altos getting to NXN if there are 2 at large berths
Compolindo in D3 may get second after the merger. Their 5 average 18:26. Their 5th 18:57. Los Altos 18:28. Their 5th 18:55. Los Altos #1 L . Soobrian did not run well.
Buchanan dominated with a 17:55 average.
I believe Compolindo and Los Altos are going to NXN if an at-large comes out of California,
Add JSerra to mix.

2 at-larges? Not 100% sure about that
JSerra beat teams from other regions that are for sure going to NXN, so that should impact the voting.

I think Leo got out too fast and maybe it wasn’t his day. He ran 10 seconds slower than last year, 12 seconds slower than last time and almost got caught by Aaron. Great showing by lex though who ran a really smart race and improved on his personal best, same for Aaron. Seymour also went out way too fast (4:36 first mile) and dropped back a lot during the latter parts of the race, he finishes 5th for NPHS.
L&L, especially Leo, were the only ones with a shot and now that they missed it, German’s record will probably remain untouched for a lot of time.
Didn’t the twins run together through 2.1 miles?
Seymour doesn't run very smart at all, 4th at 1 mile, 4th at 2 mile and finishes 13th, like always.
Evan Noonan (10) for the D4 win. Don't sleep on this one, who twice this season ran sub-14:30 for 3 miles. His father ran for UCLA.

He runs with his top 3 teammates every single race. Then falls back
he might have to try a different tactic next race. Maybe run with Doshi?
Or somewhere in between. He is used to racing without a teammate. He did last year

I remember in 2019 they were taking the top 20 teams and merging them, or something like that. Not sure about how many individuals

Kudos to GO. They peaked just at the right time. Everyone figured San Clemente to win D1 and finish 2nd in the merge. But I think that San Clemente will get into NXN. Granada is another story- clearly on the bubble.

Yeah I've watched the videos, same thing every time. Doesn't seem like a very smart runner, could cost his team nxn
Fast Horse the last individual to make it?
Only second year of coaching in anything and Draughon is set for her first trip to NXN
