You hurt many peoples' feelings. It doesn't seem to matter to you because you always double down and make people feel even worse. Most people are generally just here to talk about running but you resort to insults as soon as someone doesn't agree with you. The intent of most people is not malicious but it does seem to be for you.

its okay when yall do it, its a problem when i do it????? how does that work? age?
we are here to talk about present running, not your idol thats been desd for almost 30 years
Age? You are still doing it. People don't insult you. Why not stick to the topic rather than insult people? It would make it much more pleasant for everyone.

insulting is the basic etiquette of letsrun, if you comprehend the previous posts further, you'll realize that indeed people here insult me but as u can see idgaf and you do
but who cares, thats just lrc101, if you dont like your feelings getting hurt for being told to stop discussing your idol that died 30 years ago on a thread for 20 year old female distance runners, maybe its time for you to open a thread for him and go discuss and reminisce there, once again, its funny how its ok if yall do it to the athletes but when u get roasted its not okay? ahhahaha how does that work tho
Pre was world class at Tuohy's age. If he is overrated, she is a joke.
Thats why Pre never won. He thinks he was world class during that age. He got played by the real world-class runners and he never really won important races. Grant Fisher has more medals and wins than Pre yet people act like Pre won a dozen lol i dont get the hype so what if he broke a record before, many people did including Parker Valby's coach.
Pre was 4th in the Olympics as a 21 year old college student. That's pretty damn good. He also had to deal with USA's stupid amateurism rules while his rivals were able to train as pro runners and thus had far more resources and support.
You're forgetting the part where Pre died when he was only 24 years old. When Grant Fisher set his American Records, he was older than Pre was at his time of death. Pre never came close to his peak.
Not sure how this became a Prefontaine discussion, but he was 4th in the Olympics at 21 and the winner he was trying to keep pace with, Viren, was blood doping, although that was legal at the time.

I’m really not sure who this thread is about anymore. Semihaze seems to think it’s about someone who’s been dead almost 30 years.
What I have learned is that lacctic race track conversions can be very iffy.
Especially when the cross country course is short. Yet you and several other posters went on and on for days arguing about an incorrect track conversion of a short course. You guys are so rediculous.

All started when someone brought up a desd person and then i questioned why even mention him on this thread and then they went on to list his accomplishments, i called him overrated and irrelevant, then they got mad and told be to be nice

The course being short technically shouldn't affect the ratings. Its all based on relative times.
The only insulting of a runner I have seen recently is the slanderous attacks against Valby. As far as insulting posters, you should read the rules. You aren't allowed to insult other posters.
