An off the wall question popped into my head while watching? The current course setup doesnt look like it could handle 250 runners at start. 150 seemed to basically fill the start line today. How will they manage that next year? I did not see a wider area right there.
I guess the answer to my question is they will really narrow the boxes down vs how they had them today.
The 2021 race may be the answer. That course was too narrow, but they ran it there. Get to the front as fast as you can I guess.
It just looks to me eye the starting area is nowhere close to as wide as OSU and Fl St was..at ACC they put 15 teams with 5 each along it but that is only 75. You need room for over 100 at Nationals.
Unfortunately the re-play of the race doesn’t air until Mon the 31st…. I was hoping to sit down today and watch it.
I would put it on YT but don't want to get in ESPN jail.
I did notice this though, when Total Running Productions posts his stuff:

What is up with Seymour? Two off races in a row. She died in the last k at Nutty, but here she looked off early. Hope they figure it out, and she is ok.
I was hoping they would rest Tuohy at regionals but they may really need her with starliper & Shaw out, and Seymour so inconsistent.
