NOW there are plenty of pictures, yes. But do some basic research. You'll see that i'm telling you the truth. it WAS initially termed "an accident". And no pictures of the suspect were shown til WELL AFTER the fact.

my opinion is that the picture was released only after the media deemed it too big of a story to continue "spinning".

There are several videos posted by news organizations that identify the guy and show his picture. They were posted one day after the accident.

Here's one:

CNN ran a story with his picture two days later.

Your claim that "no pictures of the suspect were shown til WELL AFTER the fact" is false.

No, it doesn't prove your point. You said his picture wasn't shown until WELL AFTER the fact. Are you now seriously claiming that two days later is WELL AFTER the fact.

Here's another CNN piece on Brooks, also from two days later. This contains his picture, prominently displayed.

Also, CNN doesn't describe what happened as an accident.
