We don't need a million thread on this topic. We like one thread per topic. We merged several others into this thread including one called "Alex Pretti was a deranged lunatic." and one called "New York Times reports that Pretti attacked ICE cars 11 days before his death" and one called "LeBron James: Why hasn't he commented on the Alex Pretti killing?"
And it's not the resistance that constitutes the breakdown in law and order when this happens; the breakdown happens that government adopts immoral and abusive (and in this case, unconstitutional) practices to pursue its policy choices.
Immoral and abusive is a subjective viewpoint, but unconstitunal is objdctive.
What unconstitutional practices has this administration engaged in?

Your spelling is immoral, abusive, and unconstitutional.
Pretti knew what he was getting into having been involved in a previos altercation with officers. He came out with a broken rib which perhaps explains why he was packing when he distrupted officials yet again. He should have learned his lesson, but he continued to poke the bear even after he had been mauled once. These insane liberals are defunding people who hate them and this is the truth.
well, i must admit i thought it was odd that cnn were introducing the fact that this insurgent had already attacked leo, but then i saw that the reason they did this was to imply it was bad for leo to 'aggressively' oursue illegal insurgents. cnn are shocking.
if we had given all these insurgents a short sharp shock treatment; $1000 fine and three months jail, suspended for two years, within days of the event, maybe we wouldnt be having these problems.
and yes i absolutely beleive a similar idea for j6.

He violated multiple laws and was stupid enough to bring a gun to a protest and actively engage with LEOs (against his parents’ advice). He played no small role in his ultimate demise.
It's not illegal to forget to bring your gun permit with you. Police can arrest you for it not ICE. The Gestapo ICE didn't need to play prosecutor, judge , jury and executioner. This would have gone to court and would have been case dismissed once he showed his gun permit. So now how many times are you going to say the same thing in this thread?
Hillary Clinton encouraged people to donate to foreign operated fundraiser for the protest. These protest are not organic. They are foreign influenced.
Alex Pretty did have another incident with Ice the week before being shot. Five agents tackled him. Twice in a week. What is the chance?
We are at a time when Trumps approval rating is the lowest in history. Globally despised.
Trumpers say that people that don't support Trump and despise him have a derangement syndrome that consumes them.. At the same time they say that people that come out and protest against him killing and harassing their community must be paid to do so. Which by logic means they don't really want to do so naturally. They must have financial incentive to do so.

Pretti wanted to die and is dead. Not sure why anyone is the least bit concerned? We should be happy for him. #suicidebycop is a real thing. Many want this for some odd reason but we should not denigrate his death because of it.

i cant wait to hear how you will dispute this one, or how many downvotes i get for quoting the law.
The requirement to carry your permit is a very soft requirement and a court "must" dismiss charges if the permit holder is able to later demonstrate that they were a permit holder:
(b) A citation issued for violating paragraph (a) must be dismissed if the person demonstrates, in court or in the office of the arresting officer, that the person was authorized to carry the pistol at the time of the alleged violation.
It is a lot like not having your insurance card. The citation gets dismissed when you show the court a copy.
And all the stuff about Pretti having a weapon just shows how utterly reckless ICE/CBP agents were. Pretti was for the most part compliant. He backed out of the street when commanded. If ICE/CBP wanted to arrest him for a federal crime, they should have told him he was under arrest and needed to put his hands up. Real law enforcement officers do that because they want to have an opportunity to search the person they are arresting before they approach them to put on hand cuffs. When you just jump someone and dogpile them, you are now in a very dangerous situation where the person you are trying to arrest may pull a weapon out. In the case of Pretti, his weapon was recovered by a CBP agent, creating confusion as to whether he had the weapon and was about to fire when the agent announced "gun". Even then, real law enforcement officers know that you back up, command the suspect to drop their weapon and make sure all the other law enforcement officers are clear of your line of fire before you take a shot. The first shot was fired when all the CBP agents were still standing around Pretti and could have very easily hit one of them as it could have hit Pretti.
I'm at the point now where I would like ICE to be authorized to use deadly-force more frequently.
Drop the hammer on these agitators. They are the worst of the worst and if they continue to get in the way, I think more of them should be taken out.
I know someone lefties on this board won't like to read this but I speak for more and more Americans every day.
Crush the marxist agitators.
The nazis cannot fathom people sticking their necks out for other people or caring about their neighbors, so they assume the thousands upon thousands of regular Minnesotans who have turned out in opposition to their precious gestapo are all "paid agitators."
Look at this pathetic freak demanding more death. A VA ICU nurse, who dedicated his life to saving lives and is by all accounts beloved by friends, colleagues, and patients, is the "worst of the worst." People with morals, people with education, people who do things for other people just because they are kind. They are the absolute enemies of the nazis, who are unfit for human relationships. They hate being reminded of the emptiness and meaninglessness in their own lives.
People downvoting a news article because it doesn’t fit their narrative. It’s not even a biased article, one of the more balanced ones you could possibly read. And it clearly shows, according to that poll, that the vast majority of people living there support ICE and the job they’ve been tasked with. There are many people here who have no grounding in reality at all. Amazing stuff.

It clearly shows that less than 260 respondents said they support ICE with no timing of when they responded. Yeah, overwhelming empirical stuff there.

Here's a dose of reality when it comes to the questions of proper law enforcement that run through these kinds of discussions.. Many, many, senior law enforcement personnel have been speaking out about ICE tactics, including the shootings it's been involved in, and guess what? Even the veteran ICE people sound EXACTLY like the so called "leftists" in this thread when they talk about the utter indefensibility of the Good and Pretti shootings in particular.
This stopped being a left-right thing a long time ago. It's about simple right versus wrong, regulated policing versus simple repression. And the wrong/repression is SO easy for any normal person, cop of civilian, to see.
I suggest some of the ghouls in this thread-- the ones either celebrating the killings, or making absolutely risible defenses of things like shooting into the windows of moving vehicles or putting bullets into the back of a prone demonstrator-- contact these veterans to discuss their views. Note: they would shut you down in one sentence. None of ICE's so-called law enforcement is in any way normal, and these cops say it in forthright terms.
