We don't need a million thread on this topic. We like one thread per topic. We merged several others into this thread including one called "Alex Pretti was a deranged lunatic." and one called "New York Times reports that Pretti attacked ICE cars 11 days before his death" and one called "LeBron James: Why hasn't he commented on the Alex Pretti killing?"
Harambe rejoicing in Pretti’s death (like all on the left who view him as a useful tool that is disposable). If he thinks things are going to get easier with Homan, he is in for a wake up call.
Trump, Noem, Bovino, Miller all disagree with you no. Nobody is defending ICE. They all backpedaled.

He violated multiple laws and was stupid enough to bring a gun to a protest and actively engage with LEOs (against his parents’ advice). He played no small role in his ultimate demise.
You have no credibility. You intentionally lied and said he pulled his gun on ICE
He’s always about 2 days behind the current GOP talking points. Soon it will be that Noem and Bovino weren’t following Millers orders
Here's a dose of reality when it comes to the questions of proper law enforcement that run through these kinds of discussions.. Many, many, senior law enforcement personnel have been speaking out about ICE tactics, including the shootings it's been involved in, and guess what? Even the veteran ICE people sound EXACTLY like the so called "leftists" in this thread when they talk about the utter indefensibility of the Good and Pretti shootings in particular.
This stopped being a left-right thing a long time ago. It's about simple right versus wrong, regulated policing versus simple repression. And the wrong/repression is SO easy for any normal person, cop of civilian, to see.
I suggest some of the ghouls in this thread-- the ones either celebrating the killings, or making absolutely risible defenses of things like shooting into the windows of moving vehicles or putting bullets into the back of a prone demonstrator-- contact these veterans to discuss their views. Note: they would shut you down in one sentence. None of ICE's so-called law enforcement is in any way normal, and these cops say it in forthright terms.
The impunity with which ICE and other DHS agents are carrying out violence and murders in cities like Minneapolis is so awful that now scores of law enforcement officials themselves are speaking out against it.
The Boston Massacre, known in Great Britain as the Incident on King Street, was a confrontation, on March 5, 1770, during the American Revolution in Boston in what was then the colonial-era Province of Massachusetts Bay. In t...
Tank Man (also known as the Unknown Protester or the Unknown Rebel) is the nickname given to an unidentified individual, presumed to be a Chinese man, who stood in front of a column of Type 59 tanks on Chang'an Avenue near Ti...
it's hilarious seeing all these red hats blaming the victim for 'being in the street' or being an 'agitator'.
Let's take a look at the fine people who they celebrate as heroes for storming the whitehouse:
Larry Brock, a Jan 6th organizer:
“Do not kill LEO unless necessary. Gas would assist in this if we can get it.”
“Shoot and destroy enemy communication nodes and key personnel”
“Seize all democratic politicians and Biden key staff and select Republicans (Thune and McConnell). Begin interrogations using measures we used on Al Queda to gain evidence on the coup.”
“Seize national media assets and key personnel. Zuck, Jack, CNN lead and talking heads, seize WAPO and NYT editors. Eliminate them.”
“Let the Democratic cities burn. Cut off power and food to all who oppose us.”
“General pardon for all crimes up to and including murder of those restoring the Constitution and putting down the Democratic Insurrection.”
...and yet somehow jaywalking makes one a 'domestic terrorist' lol
This is the point, isn't it? Every repressive regime, from colonial Britain to Nazi Germany backed everything it did with the force of law, making any and all resistance "illegal".
So, calling popular, peaceful (if loud and direct) resistance to ICE "illegal" is, eventually, beside the point. If/when people see outright abusive and immoral behavior by their government, they don't give a shyt if it's breaking the law (again, peacefully) to try to stop it.
And it's not the resistance that constitutes the breakdown in law and order when this happens; the breakdown happens that government adopts immoral and abusive (and in this case, unconstitutional) practices to pursue its policy choices.
Speaking of the Constitution, when's the last time anyone heard a M@GA supporter refer to it? That was a thing for when they were out of power. Now that they're in, it's win-at-all-cost, revolution-against-the-lib-order time, and the constitution be damned!
