Going back on this thread someone did some research on the names in just a couple of her events and it looks like she or Steve pulled them from ratemyprofessors.com also, they had no athlinks, etc running history.

May have done the same with other of her events and just pulled random names from random sites.

Plenty of her events there for someone to research.

It appears that there are only 1, maybe 2, people making all these posts the last few days.

For that reason, I'm out.

I think PM violates nearly every one of these rules in her own races. How ironic is this?

#10 made me laugh out loud. #13 is total hypocrisy.

Legends 100 Club Rules

1. The runner must have completed 100 marathons or ultra-marathons in one calendar year.

2. The runner must contact the Club President to apply and be considered for approval by the Board of Directors.

3. The runner must pay a one-time membership fee of $100 USD.

4. The member must pay a $20 USD annual fee.

5. The marathon must be the full distance of 26 miles 385 yards (42.195K). An ultra-marathon is defined as any distance greater than marathon distance.

6. The event must have a race director to supervise and take responsibility for the event.

7. Someone who is not running in the event must time the event.

8. Races must be official, publically posted and advertised on the event website at least one month prior to race date.

9. Verifiable results must be maintained and/or posted to the general public.

10. The event shall have a minimum of five starters and three finishers. If an ultra and a marathon are being held simultaneously, total numbers meet this rule.

11. The runner shall retain and present information to substantiate each event.

12. Applicants must be approved by an unanimous vote of the Board of Directors.

13. The Club President reserves the right to revoke membership of any member or Board of Director exhibiting misconduct.

14. Rules are subject to change by the Club President.

Just a random race I picked today. Huge turnout. Five finishers. Convenient? I doubt it.

SH, PM, and LM all duking it out for the 3rd place finish. Almost too close to call! You mean to tell me that you are doing a 1.6 mile out and back marathon course for 7 hours and the 3 of you are not walking together? Yet you finish minutes and seconds from each other?

When in doubt, add the three of you to the finishers total. If SH and LM were running (I mean walking), I wonder who certified the race that day? Yawn.

After a day of marathoning and being on your feet for 7 plus hours, a true ultra-marathoner always finishes up the very next day by running a sub 30 hour 100-miler on an out and back course! WTF?

PM is flat out amazing! After running an impressive 7:25:57 marathon on Feb 7, 2014, she follows it back up with a sub-100 miler the very next day (Feb 8, 2014) with a time of 29:59:20. Wow! That is less than one minute slower over ~4x the distance. 100-mile, sub 30 hr cool down is just a tremendous sign of fitness after hammering out a marathon the day before. No wonder why she smoked all the zombies late in the race at BW.

Marathon pace the day earlier was 17:01. 100-mile pace was not even a minute more, 17:59. That is the most impressive ultra-running stat I have ever scene!
