Seth is just trying to hawk as many different pairs of shoes as possible to his subscribers right now through his affiliate link. He's gotta keep the $$ flowing in somehow since ad revenue is probably down with the decrease in views and new subscribers. That's why he recently reviewed a shoe a few days ago that he clearly hadn't run in but it was currently on sale so he could hopefully convince a few simps to pick it up right away. He also made mention of a shoe in today's video "selling out soon" so buy it now before you miss out or pick up two pairs so you have a backup!
"It doesn't matter if you train 3 days a week, never do speed work, or only run trails 5 times a year. You need 8-10 different pairs of shoes so that I can keep squirreling away in my basement with a video camera on and never go back to working a real job!"

You are wrong on this one. Seth doesn't need to work. His wife has family money.
He just needs a reason to get out of the house for 6 hours every day.
Seth vs. Paul Newman in the Cool Hand Luke egg eating contest. Who wins?

if SjD really saw his channel as a business, he should just purchase a pair of AF2 as the ad revenue he'll receive is much more than the cost of the shoe. Plus it's a write off for business expense.
Sorry, I clicked downvote by accident. I agree wholeheartedly.
It’s pretty hilarious that they won’t send him the AF2 or the Streakfly but he got the new Pegasus. Maybe some Winflo next…
My apologies. You are correct. There is no way Youtube and his monthly DGR members pay for his mcmansion, the kids private school, health insurance for 7 people, groceries for 7 people, gas for daily round trips to the mountains, a new SUV, not to mention all the new furniture and the flat screen TVs they have now that weren't at the old house. The list goes on and on.
But why then won't they throw him a few bones to buy the not-so-new-anymore AF2s so he can review them!? I can already see Seth begging True Love's parents for an extra $250...
"C'mon now! An extra $250 and I can review the AL-FA FLY TWOOS for the DEE GEE ARR FA-MI-LY! *Seth holds out his hand* "Just go ahead and slap it down raht thurr, raht thurr, raht thurr!"
His in-laws don't look very impressed with him when they appear on his channel. If they contribute, it is to make sure that their daughter and grandchildren don't want for anything. I doubt that they willingly subsidize Seth's hobby business.
I'm also not 100% convinced that they are the source of the windfall that made the McMansion possible.
I wonder if TL does her insane on camera persona when her parents are there to see the grandkids 🤔
Wow, now he is on crutches!
Why is Seth still wearing that stupid medical bracelet? I'm sure there is no value of it.
Seth on his Twitter admitting his channel is “sputtering” may be the most significant concession he’s ever made. He knows we’re right.

Those tweets almost feel like he's sternly telling his fans to go watch more content: "There are a lot of videos" ... "Sputtering doesn't work (long term)"

Seth the mad scientist is back cutting up shoes with a saw that are basically brand new. All in the name of science of course.

I was thinking the same thing. But Seth has like over a 1,000 pair of shoes that he got for free, so cutting up one pair isn't so bad, right? But I am sure if he had paid for that pair, I don't think he will be cutting them up with a saw.
I used to watch daily but this guy has lost his mind. I had to unsubscribe because of his constant asking for free product. The past two days asking for the Alpha Next% 2. I’m thinking why would Nike send someone in crutches a carbon super shoe? Then todays vlog it made sense. They don’t want to see someone not run in a $275 shoe to take a saw too it.
Maybe he should ask Nike for the Alpha Next% 2 because I’m sure they want to see him cut those up.
Eleven minutes of verbal diarrhea! Is SJD injured? Is he reflecting during this downtime? I can't be sure since he only mentioned these things about a dozen times each. Where is the Pegasus 39? No sense in doing any pre-production work - let's just ramble and waste time to streeeeeettttttttttccccccchhhhhh this garbage out to a monetizable length.
Are the air bags tuned to each size? Did you think to call a contact at Nike or Running Warehouse to confirm? Maybe the local EKIN (Nike tech rep) in Denver? Nope. Just keep spewing word salad and folksy catchphrases like a methed up moron being interrogated by the police. Is this a "quality" video or are we still on the sabbatical of sh**ty work?
Good lord! If this is sputtering along, I can only imagine what the wheels falling off is going to look like.

I like the shot of him crawling up the steps knowing that he has to go back down to retrieve his camera then go back up again
