Let's vote on the top three NAIA programs to coach or be an athlete at. Consider everything, for example, location/ town, weather, university/ college size, rules at school, administration support, financial support/ budget/ scholarships, number of coaches, and any other factors that mean something to you.
I'll go first in no particular order. I'll think on that
Keiser if I'm any event outside of distance due to the heat. Its in west palm beach, school has money and recruiting in FL alone is awesome. They are a good athletic department and love that. Weather overall would be amazing.
Cumberlands for any event. Its well funded and athletic department is strong in everything and would be great to be in that culture. Location isn't great but nothing wrong with smaller towns as a lot of NAIA schools are this way. They care and means a lot if I was a coach. As an athlete not sure that matters about
Milligian is my third. Veteran coach, mountain area for great training as a distance runner. They've had success in events other than distance that shows they can do it. Obviously most the money is going to Distance but they can. Weather is solid being in the south. Not extreme cold like other mountain areas. They also have a strong athletic department even though its a smaller one.
Honorable mention as a coach British Columbia has to be an easy job with limited universities in college athletics across Canada. Beautiful area, big school, invest in all events. Honorable for me because no thank you on Canada winters/ rain
Your turn to tell us which ones and why.
