PM's marathon results exactly one month before 2014 Badwater. She ran a 5:30 at Grandama's Marathon.

I am sorry but a 5:30 marathon (12:35 pace) is not the type of fitness one needs to even toe the line at Badwater, much less finish in less than 48 hours.

There is a reason why she was dead last in the first 45 miles at BW (and even longer) when the course was heavily monitored. There are eyes all over you on an out and back section. She instantly fell hours behind the back of the pack athletes when she couldn't cheat. Hours! She is a 5:30 - 9:00 hr marathoner. That does not work at Badwater, period.

She is not capable of even getting close to an official BW finish. When the course was desolate, the games began.

strange that an experienced marathoner would go out too fast

She averaged about 18 min/mi at Badwater on the split from 91-122 miles. How does she manage to throw down marathon race pace at over 100 miles into an ultra??? And for 31 miles???

Looks like she ran Boston at one point. Wonder if she cheated into that. If I had to guess she probably plateaued out then started Ultras. At some point go injured or something and then the cheating began to keep herself up. Pretty much the Kip MO, but this chick takes the case.

I don't by the no money for shoes angle some mentioned . She is sponsored. This chick started cheating to keep her marathoning going since she couldn't maintain her performance for some reason.

The media were at her race this weekend watching her. At last report, she was "slow cooking" up an 8 hour marathon. Funny what happens to your race times when you cant cheat. Let's see if she gives herself a nice round 8:15:00.

It makes you look every more ridiculous.

I got a 3:10:00 and a BQ! I smoked it! I know, I know, I wasn't there for the actual race, but neither were you. (wink wink). That's not a problem is it? I would like a finishers medal if you have any left.

Chalk up another BQ marathon for me!

I bet she was there to greet Arturo at the finish line, too, and give him his medal. The usual laws governing time and space are optional for her.

She might also just be lying about having fractures, just trying to embellish her aura. As far as I know, if you have any kind of fracture in your foot it just gets worse with running, or walking for that matter.

I don't know how much more clear this could be:

"Major rule infractions by racers or their crew, especially those regarding “cheating,” will result in immediate disqualification of [the runner]."
