Badwater 135 does not DQ cheaters. Potential runners in the Badwater 135 need to know that cheaters are invited as featured participants in the Badwater 135. Parvaneh Moayedi cheated in Badwater 135, and the RD looked the other way. Its disappointing that Badwater 135 does not do more to monitor and DQ cheaters.

And it seems highly likely that more DQs are coming for parvaneh moaned - it would be prudent for the Badwater 135 RD to DQ her now (or at least make some statement as to why a DQ is not warranted).

Kind of makes the case for skipping at least one if not two laps in NY last week. If there is a 7 hr time cut off and you are a 7:39 walker, you either skip laps or you DNF.
Amazing she has never DNF'd one of her own races. Not necessary when you are the official timekeeper. LOL

Badwater deserves to be permanently attached to PM. Year after year, the cheating continues in the desert and the RD looks the other way.

Badwater 135 bas a few um... hills. Isn't her course fast and flat?! So, she was in 7hr+ shape - tapering for her Badwater experience where she'll freaking be running up crazy high elevation and temps that make San Antonio look cold? ( and seriously, 50% of her runners DNSd that race? really? at $90 a pop or whatever)
Badwater 135 clearly cares more about its entry fee than a legit course. Even if it is a Disney-esque race, there are folks who paid up, and DNF'd honorably.
Thats really what irritates me more than anything. Disney and RnR will give you a ride to the finish b/c they want you to have fun and who cares if you finish the full distance. Fine. I find it offensive, vote with my wallet and do not run their events.
But at least those who sign up know the reputation.
Badwater 135 puts out all these rules about crew behavior, and whatever else, and implies that even if they are an event race, they are an event where you should expect to run 135 miles or DNF trying.
PM did not DNF honorably.
She cheated at Badwater 135.

Somebody should email the race director of Grandma's Marathon. Check the course distance too. Was the course 6 miles too short. Does any one know if this is a measured course? Did she run all of the loops? Were they filming this course liked they filmed the Sri Chimoy race?

Umm, wow! Does she actually run anything? Walking is all I seem to see. 17:31 pace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone can do that! This is no great feat being done by this person, nothing special at all. She just seems to have all the time in the world to pull this off.
