Trump admitted last week that he hates the USA and wants to move to the south of France. I doubt he's ever gone to WV by choice.

Trump should simply recuse himself from the elections.
He knows he belongs in jail for the rest of his natural days. Lock him up!

hard to pick any dates that don't conflict with primaries in 2024. Reminder that we have four indictments already and AZ is next. Can't find open dates for all that! there will be conflicts with primaries. But remember that Rs actively *like* that trump has been indicted. So it's not a problem for Trump.

The key to all of this is the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which states that “No person shall … hold any office, under the United States … who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” Trump took that oath at his inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017. Both Trump’s Georgia indictment, and his federal indictment in Washington, D.C., cite largely public information – and some newly unearthed material – to spell out exactly how he engaged in efforts to rebel against the Constitution, and sought and gave aid and comfort to others who also did so.
The Republican national convention will be drama filled. The do or die Trumpers will never leave Trump but the thinking Republicans will leave Trump. They know Trump will lose a national election. So you will have two determined groups. Trump will not be selected but this will make Trump the king maker. Trump will decide who will gets the nomination and they will OWE Trump bigly.

I don't see it this way. The entire recent history of the Republican Party is total submission to Donald Trump and his primary voters. I don't see the R party ever pushing back on that. If they go against Spanky, his voters will be perturbed with a ferocity no amount of 'but socialism! but Obama's birth certificate! But Hillary's sex dungeon Pizzeria! but Joe is senile' will cover up.
