That would be a lie. The reason millions of people believed there was fraud was because because he told them so and after the investigations were complete, he provoked an attack on the U.S. Capitol. Asking the Georgia Secretary of State to committ election fraud was not on the behalf of tens of millions of Americans.

Ironically, Trump's State Dept. criticized the Venezuelan unrest, while Trump told the rioters here that he loved them.

No there isn't a big difference in ideology. The GOP is all about corruption, gas lighting, sewing division, and more recently has also come to embrace and call for violence. That is how it's been under Maduro - no matter how much corruption is uncovered and displayed for the country to see, his people simply claim it's all lies and double down on the brainwashing.

If it was possible to cheat in elections, the Republicans would be first in line. Last year, Biden was ahead in polls but the sleezy Democrats cheated anyway, while the pure as driven snow Ruplicans naively trusted the election process. Right.

Yet, not obvious enough for Trump's lawyers to present evidence of it to the courts, despite being "widespread" and "obvious". And when given the opportunity to present evidence those lawyers specifically said that their claim was not a fraud claim.

But but the Dems are so crafty at cheating that they managed not to cheat as much in the Senate and House races to avoid suspicion. They only mostly changed the votes for POTUS on the ballots, but the change was so drastic that it caused the Chinese Dominion machines to "tilt", so it broke the algorithm! Trust this, Lin, Sidney and Rudy said so repeatedly.

I said he provoked the attack rather than that he incited one. If he hadn't falsely claimed the election was stolen from him, given the impression that election results could still be challenged on 1/6 and promoted the rally that day, there would have been no riot. Not having said "sic'em" does not get him off the hook. He, alone, was responsible.

I'd just add that every GOP politician who kept the big lie going is also responsible.

And that's the GOP plan...if all of them stay united then the party stays together. If some start accusing others of sedition and lying...then it's a Republican civil war.

So far they are doing a masterful job of staying together.
