You're skewing things by only looking at a couple of races
Bottom line Tuohy average 165 on the season and was trending up with 168 170 168 her last three races
Also in those races she didn't Sprint to the finish and some of those other girls did
Again Tuohy was clearly down for nxn and a lot of the other girls were above-average
Rankings are updated on a weekly basis. Who cares what Dudek was doing 2 months ago? She is better than Tuohy today. Tuohy was a clear number 1 at the beginning of the season while Dudek was lucky to be top 25. Things change.
I don't know man I think there's something to be said for having a good season!
Like in the NBA or any professional sport for that matter, they give out the MVP for whoever had the best season
They don't just look at the last game and say oh Johnny Jones had a great last game let's give him the award
Means something to be said for working hard and putting together a great season
Bottom line is we don't know who would have won some hypothetical final race. But we do know who had the best season

People love Jordan cuz he was the man! Someone outscored him on the last day of the season no one would say oh forget this Jordan guy we had it wrong all along clearly JR Smith is the greatest player of all time.

there is a MVP and a FINALs mvp. Or a All star team and then a All NBA team which are usually very different
