This thread in incredible. Mr. President, with all this emotion, you might be able to get the top tax bracket so low that we have a regressive system and still win in 2020. Keep them emotional. They should be talking solely about emotional topics, and should have no opinions on topics that will tangibly benefit (or in this case schlong) them. They're so sensitive emotionally. Keep it up.

I am not a supporter of Trump. And I certainly don't like some of the things that he says. But I absolutely condemn the violence which happened today, and don't believe it was "fostered" by Trump. The factors which elected Trump - in particular the frustrations felt, justified or not, by many in "flyover" country did not first appear with Trump and have been a long time in coming. (Why Clinton did not even attempt to dial into these frustrations is a complete mystery to me as the traditional Democratic platform lends itself to this kind of platform). To ascribe these beliefs to Trump, both a late comer and novice to the political scene, seems to make no sense. He may have given those who feel alienated by our Government a voice, but he did not foster the groundswell of emotion which put him in office. These have been a long in forming, really, ever since the collapse of manufacturing in the late 80's and the concomitant impact of increasingly globalization and competitiveness. Of course, this rational answer doesn't support the hate Trump at all costs meme, so I doubt it will persuade you. But in any event, I don't think I have a primitive mind in saying so.
Of course hatred and violence go back in time and are arguably part of our biology. However, the right will have to recognize that Trump is a manifestation of the uber selfish policies they advocate and I can promise you the violence will escalate.
The right are so dishonest that some of them said Sandy Hook was a hoax. Is today's shooting a hoax? How does it feel?
The vast majority of "mass shootings" in the US, are black male related, and the vast majority of victims, are black males.
We're very close to the tipping point where the youth of today will soon wake up with the realization that the Democratic Party is the larger problem in relation to violence and social chaos in the US and Europe. While we often cite millineals as stupid, they are truly open minded enough to see and understand how pervasive propaganda is in our society.
The political right has some work to do on itself, but ultimately, the democrats are increasingly being exposed as the true party of hate.
