I don't think she could have run any better.

Incredible race. Jebet killlled it. Coburn could have had silver but had a bad last water jump. Bronze is still fantastic though.
Coburn 9:07.63 NR

You think the BBC are using their own cameras?

Wow, so says the MSNBC folks.
HAHAH! Someone was about the break a WR, 2nd and 3rd can come later.

New AR to boot. I was getting nervous when Emma allowed the big gap when she was sitting in 4th. She played it perfectly though.
Jebet - 19 years old... hilarious.
coburn is nails - she's the one I'd want in a barfight
big congrats on a blistering hot day when the race plan was probably thrown out the window. No walking for half the race. When ruth caused a separation emma went with it. That takes serious courage and smarts.
Surprised Kivyeng lost steam today. Almost got a bronze.

Is Jebet coached by Khalid Boulami? He's the national team coach for Bahrain.
He's got a very good point Rojo.
The Bahrain athlete didn't look tired until about 5 feet from the line. Watch her face on the replay, looks like she says to herself "I should look tired so this doesn't look too suspicious."
Great run for Emma - made the AR look like a walk in the park. I think she snuffed the few remaining naysayers around here for good.
Women at this meet so far have been more impressive than the Men, other Van Niekerk. Especially the men's 10000k seeing how fast this track is that was the perfect opportunity for the Kenyans to push a 26:30 pace to try and break Farah, but they did exactly what they did last year.

Really? Says 79 on weather sites. If so, that makes EC's run even more amazing.

The signs on the track as they went around said 34 degrees Celsius.
Now the slowest event in comparison to the rest of the world since 2010, the 400m hurdles, how fats will they go. I get scared thinking of some scenarios, how fast would Michael Jonson go on this track, 18.X? 42.X? Marita Koch 46.X? I get scared for the lat one.
American men regularly now run sub 13 5k and sun 27 10k but marathons stuck at 2:07. What gives?
Gjert did it again - produces another Diamond League champ. Nordas over Lobalu and Grijalva 7:33.49
