So does anyone have any concrete information on why Walmsley has pulled out yet? Ludovic Pommeret announced Walmsley will be pacing him at Hardrock (happening July 11th, not that long after Western States)

My best guess is he's had an injury and just isn't fit enough yet to race WS but expects to be healthy enough for a pacing job. Hope we find out come WS race day what's actually going on with him.

Just saw a post on Reddit saying he's having issues with his knee... not sure how accurate that is. If it really is the issue, I don't why he needs to be so cagey about it.

if it is the same knee as last year I wonder if the Tecton X is the cause?
