The Icecoldxc IG has posted close to 100 college commitments of Minnesota athletes. You can see a few MIAC commits. Carl women have some big pickups.
Found this shoutout and wanted to post what I had for commitments in the MIAC:
Carleton- Claire Vukovics and Louise Ruzanic
St. Ben's- Daphne Grobstein
St. Scholastica- Della Bettendorf
Gustavus- Addison Enfeld, Anna Forbord and Ray Anderson
Hamline- Brady Sullivan
St. John's- Logan Frank
St. Olaf- Anna Peikert, Anna-Britta Helmer, Paxon Myers (1:52 800) and Raiyan Ali (9:49 3200)
More/better women here than men, but Olaf getting Myers was a good pull. There are many more MN seniors I don't have but wanted to share my current list.
Would be great if you could follow IceColdXC on Instagram for all things MN High School XC!
Mac has a 4:22/16:30 Nutmegger coming in. And based off Wiltse's summer training, he'll be a factor this Fall.
Carleton has posted their class. One of Dave's strongest groups in a while. Very California heavy. Looks like a superb group to add depth to their big three. Will be interesting to see if the Johnnies, Oles, or Mac get anything like this.
16:46 from Colorado with no track results
4:19/9:32/16:32 Iowan
4:36/10:20/16:22 from California. Also has 4-10 high jump PR
4:36/10:03/16:38 Michigander
4:29/9:26/16:34 Californian that has also run 300H. Next Matt Wilkinson?

4:28/9:31/16:09 Californian
4:27/9:42 Porlandia native
This is a tremendous class. It follows what I thought was the best class in the MIAC last year. Every time we count Dave out, he rises to the occasion.
The way I see it, Turlington finishes ahead of Roy & Gabe, with Iggy fourth. A couple of Johnnies, Indy (who is crushing summer training), probably Hootie and Edwards will be ahead of the next two Oles and we don't know who their fifth will be. If just one of the 3 sub 9:32 runners can be a solid 4th to the rapidly improving Torte, I think the Carls take the MIAC title.
Reports are coming in that Elijah Donaldson of the legendary Eden Prairie XCTF distance program has committed to the St. Mary's University of Minnesota to be a Cardinal.
At Eden Prairie he posted impressive times in both cross country and track:
800-1:57.86 (junior)
1600- 4:22.91(senior)
3200- 9:22.45 (senior)
5K XC-15:31(senior)
He was also all state in cross country in 2023 AND 2024, as well as a state champion in the 4x800 in 2025.
With this level of recruiting, what other kinds of recruits could the cardinals have gotten? Will Fitzgerald now have training partners that can help the Cardinals make a jab at Northfield's dominance?

Power was spotted at a popular Onalaska waterfront restaurant last week. Is he auditioning for the La Crosse assistant position? Does he want to win a national title so bad he’ll go be an assistant? Or maybe he wants to learn more about the science of the sport from a superior coach.
That’s a big step down from Coach Petesch to Chunko if true. And that’s not just because Petesch was able to pace a lot of the high level runners.
I’m inclined to believe it only because Onalaska/La Crosse are far enough away from Northfield that he wouldn’t drive there just to have lunch on the river. Makes me wonder if the Oles pay so little he’d want an assistant position at a rival.
Based on the Olaf instagram story they appear to be bringing a 9:26 guy from Alaska. I'm sure Arne helped recruit him, so in a way, this kid will also be Phil's recruit. Also, Ian Curtis looks way more fit than he ever did as Olaf. Maybe he should have stuck to mountain running rather than not stagnating his career at Olaf.

Looks like another really strong class from Mac. Carleton's is better, but this group adds a lot of depth and we know have fast twins in the MIAC again after The Future's departure. Few coaches can develop athletes like Schofer, so we will expect bigly results soon.
In addition to the 4:22 from Connecticut, they have a 9:39/4:34 athlete from Brussels via Spokane, kid from Maine that ran 4:37 as a Jr, 15:50 kid from IL, twins from Georgia that have run 4:35/9:52/16:35 & 4:32/9:50/16:34.
I don’t think the freshmen will be enough to help Mac or Carleton this year but the depth of the programs is really growing. Their young groups have far superior depth to the Oles. Could be a shift of Power in the MIAC, pun intended.

Love that he is staying in Minnesota. Why did he de-commit from La Crosse?
I thought he was going to Madison? La Crosse has tryouts. Some really good runners don't make the team. He can be the top guy and help build the future at Saint Mary's.
They haven't posted their roster yet, so it can't be confirmed. I will never understand what coaches like Chunko and friends think they gain by not posting rosters. Carleton and Mac already have theirs up, why are they not promoting their program and "recruiting prowess?"

Bro, it’s summer break. Let the coaches and SID’s have a few days off. If they’re not posted by the second week of August you can complain.
We had an athlete not show up one year, so our coach never posts until preseason is over.
La Crosse canceled the Jim Drews meet? Is everybody just going to Augustana now? Or is there any chance Hamline will host another MIAC preview on their course?
