Happy for Dudek. She’s dealt with a lot of sh!t over the past few years.
Many former hs stars in that race. Dudek, Rauber, Perez, Dadamio, Covert, etc.
Rauber w/800 leg on NC st record dmr, and now 3rd at acc 5000 having nice indoor season. Gapes with the 4:27 1600 today has to be brimming with confidence.
Compare photos of her now vs her 2019 Foot Locker win . . . you can see what kind of sh!t she's overcome. Perseverance paid off.
Regarding women's mile -- presuming all advance to finals -- don't forget Appleton/VA.
Thanks; unlike other athletes, Dudek’s result hasn’t been entered yet at TFRRS.
I mentioned Zofia earlier. I grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana and she lived there briefly when her father taught at Purdue as an econ prof. She ended up in Michigan because her dad transferred to scUM. Great, even incredible, school but it has fans that are conceited beyond belief and have a stick solidly in their ass. Anyway, I digress. Absolutely happy for Zofia
I’ve also been impressed with Gary Martin. He show really good range. When you combine what he’s done last cross season + this indoor season I think he’s going to have a big spring.

This leaves Hartman and Bunnage fresh for their mile battle to come.
That’s going to be a great race. Both of those women are on fire.
I do think that is what is going to be one of the better races on the women’s side.
Hartman will run Bunnage into the ground in the mile. They’re a lot more evenly matched at 3000+ with Bunnage currently having the advantage, imho. Hartman is going to go under 4:20 before she graduates and she’s going to flirt with 4:00 in the 1500. She’s a hell of a runner

Yes, likely, given it's 4:24 vs 4:29.
Presuming no drama in Sunday's semis, the finals on Monday should feature Hartman/4:24 pr vs Appleton/4:25 pr. Bunnage likely 3rd.
Regarding Stanford's DMR at NCAAs: Whittaker just racing ACC relays suggests she is in such good shape she does not need another individual race. Thus, likely to see her do the DMR/800 double. Probably Stanford keeps Cate Peters in the 400 leg although her best is only low-55s -- don't believe Stanford has anyone better. Then, Willis in the 800 leg while Bunnage anchors. Roisin may ditch the individual 800 to be fresh for a sub-2 to give Amy as big a lead as possibly on the anchor. Then, hope for the best against all the studs behind her. Bunnage in the 3000 on day 2 vs Lemngole, Olemomoi, Kosgei, Kennedy, Noe, Halliday-Lowry, et al.
Is Morley injured for nationals? No other way to describe her absence.
Also, in case no one has answered this yet, Morley has a small injury (unspecified) and the staff decided to focus on nationals instead. Should be ready then
Additional Florida stuff, courtesy of @phofmahoney on twitter:
- Florida men AND women had their worst SEC indoor finish in program history (ouch!)
- Jenoah Mckiver dealing with a back injury
- Wanya McCoy pulled up in the 200. Seems pretty bad. Gonna really hurt their 4x400 at Nats.
- Vance Nilsson, true Freshman and HS national record holder in the 300h and technically the 400h - 46.23 split on 2nd leg for the 4x400. Not bad, considering he started the indoor season at 49.
Per post #117, Olemomoi did not qualify for the 3000m.
But maybe there will be at least 3 scratches consequently advancing her?
Perhaps, but also ACC results yet to come which could shift things around. Mondays race should be complete around 2:30 and if that result is submitted by 5:00 it can be used.

So they will scratch a 15:00 runner from 5000? Granted 4-5 have been faster than her. To me since neither Hartman nor Bunnage ran 5000 at ACC they are heading in that direction for Nationals.
