No you didn't 'fix' anything. The man behind the curtain, the OWNER of the politicians, is the Oligarch. He is above the law, holds himself beyond the people in every possible way, and needs to be reminded now and then that the people will rise up, find him and make him feel the same pain he inflicts on the people and the planet.
It is the Oligarchs far more than the politicians they own, and we now truly live in an Oligarchy. Once people see the genuine source of these problems, it will be the Oligarchs who will be made to fear. The politicians are awful but are a symptom, not the disease.
We should probably figure out what the actual motive behind this killing is before going down the rabbit hole of blaming rich people for all of societies problems.
The Russians 'enjoy' a long history of being ruled with cruelty and brutally oppressed. They are historically conditioned to be beaten down. Not so in the US. When all of the 2A whackos realize that their champions on the right have brutally stripped Grandma of her Social Security and she can't find medical care, what do you suppose will happen?
I predict something more akin to what happened in France in 1789. All of the private protection details they can muster won't keep the Oligarchs safe.
I hope this is correct. Certainly the US has a history of a lot of freedom and its citizens also have a lot of guns. We also have a good system of elections, though that is being systematically undermined.
Unfortunately, we have a large group of US citizens cheering for the oppression of another group. Even when it hurts them also, they may look the other way for a long time if it hurts their perceived enemy. Think about how Hitler and Mussolini came to power and how people accepted seeing their neighbors dragged off to concentration camps. Some even turned their neighbors over to authorities. Not for doing them harm, but for being the wrong religion or race. Soldiers with machine guns patrolled the streets and controlled speech and press. Freedom was long gone and there was no internal uprising. The reason it ended was the Allied Forces stopped it and millions died in the process.
The killing of a CEO by itself is bad, but may mean nothing in a larger sense. It may have nothing to do with politics. But if you look at how angry people are and how their anger is being stoked by certain press and politicians, it is easy to understand how people are emboldened to commit violence. Heck, a President might even pardon them if they do it for the right reasons.
This will only increase the mundane "wifey did it" crowd, but what they FAIL to understand is there is no way the wife would have access to such a professional assassin. Where do they think she found the guy? At the supermarket?
As many have noted, this could only have been a professional job, probably Eastern Europe or Russian. You can't find some mookster on Craigslist to do this. This is highly skilled work.

Somebody isn’t very bright. The wife had money. She can find someone who knows how to kill somebody.
Wouldn't it be nice if the Oligarchs, when deciding to screw over the little guy again and again in the chase for ever more wealth, feared for their safety and the safety of theirs?
For years, the 2A freaks have talked about the government needing to be afraid of them while never seeming to notice that it's been the Oligarchs, like the wizard behind the curtain, pulling all of the levers screwing them.
It's not the government, it's not the wholly owned politicians, IT'S THE OLIGARCHS who are destroying the country and the world, but they're very good at misdirection and pitting us against each other.
They should rightfully fear the populations whose lives they ruin.
Correct, the servants-turned-oligarchs in D.C. should fear for their safety. They give people no ability to "opt out" and kill or imprison dissenters.
Contrast that with private businesses, who, by virtue of their existence, are a social good in ALL cases. As opposed to the government (force people against their will to do xyz), a private business is by necessity heroic (people freely choose to engage with them).
Insurance is no different, though the industry has been captured by Obamacare and other govt strangleholds. And even with those government programs leading to poverty and death, the CEOs of such companies STILL are a huge net benefactor of society
FIFY: Wouldn't it be nice if the Oligarchs and regular politicians and bureaucrats, when deciding to screw over the little guy again and again in the chase for ever more wealth and Job Security and promotion, feared for their safety and jobs and jobs and promotions and the safety of theirs? This immense stratification and pay to play, on the way to a caste system doens't happen without politicians, technocrats and bureaucrats who we can't even tar and feather anymore.

You are confused-- Oligarchy can only ever exist within the political class. In a free market, there is not and can never be such thing as an oligarch

You are incredibly naive if you think that is true.

Since most of us don't want to shoot anyone, we could have better results going after the regular establishement in serious ways, but not ways that would get us in prision or killed ourselves. Call it complimentary work if you want. I am not for violence or sitting around waiting for those who are to act.
A friend made an interesting point about occupy wallstreet in reference to this killing. Whatever one thinks about that success and failure or even right or wrongness of that protest, they are related. Occupy your congressman's business and other "symptomatic" places.

Or you just add a source if you make a claim like most people learned in elementary/middle school.
When you are as smart as some of us, sometimes we are our own source. Grow up.
Actual smart people would understand that you can cite yourself as a source.
Example: “I have personal knowledge that the CEO lived separately from his wife. After the United CEO went home from banging my wife and mother, I followed him to a different house than the one his wife used as a home address on the restraining order she got because I’m a creepy weirdo.” Tddd

Implicit within the assertion is the notion that I am the source as I post utilizing my own mind.
The fact he’s not wearing gloves alone tells you he’s not a professional. Probably never fired the gun with the silencer before which is why it jams. Walking around in his hostel lobby in the same close he’s about to commit a hit in? Going into Starbucks to buy water and granola bars? C’mon.

I am a bit suspicious of the media story about him going into Starbucks with no mask

He didn't. The guy in the Starbucks photo is a guy with valid domestic papers and an alibi. The cops have been buffaloed on this. The assassin and his team have used commerce and the media to aid in the exit work.
