Might have to turn in for the night. Was hoping to see an official call in Georgia or Pennsylvania before I went to sleep but it is taking too long.
House currently 179 GOP to 146 Dems
Senate currently 51 GOP to 42 Dems
If Trump secures Georgia, he has 13 ways to win and Harris will only have 6. If he gets Pennsylvania, too, it is officially game over.
Thanks for your contributions. Harris is down to PA and AZ as needed. They both track to be razor thin. We'll wake up in the morning and see what's what.
Interesting that 'the economy' is a factor despite the fact that the US currently has the best economy post Covid and supply inflation in the world. If Trump follows through on tarrifs etc (which I doubt) the economy can only go backwards
I am always amazed at Americans and their view of the world. Perhaps the downvoters can point to economies that have recovered better from the Covid/supply inflation hit. Australia not too far behind, but USA got to turn it around first

I've analyzed the margins in the "Blue Wall" States and none of them show a path to Harris victory unless - unless the "% votes in" numbers reported by media again turn out false and piles of new ballots suddenly appear. In a non-covid year I think that's unlikely.
People don't expect rural counties to add up to a lot of votes, but they aren't all done counting and they've got more ballots yet to count than the urban centers do. This is especially clear in Wisconsin, where Milwaukee is the last Democrat leaning city not nearly done with counting. In PA, known uncounted ballots in Philly and Pittsburgh metro areas can't cover the margin.
It's done. Donald Trump is elected president again. And we shouldn't have to wait past midnight to know it.

Prices go up and people really don’t like that. International perspective doesn’t matter
Seems all but over. I hope Trump executes on his good policies and fails on his bad ones 😁

Seems to be the answer. Dems tried to galvanize new and undecided voters on social issues, but unless they were personally affected, not many were interested.

Basically. I think the inflation headwinds - despite all the positives in the economy - were unexpectedly strong.
Plus the Dems continue to get more and more unappealing to low education voters for some valid and invalid reasons.
The Fox News Decision Desk projects Donald Trump has defeated Kamala Harris in a stunning victory, delivering him a second term in the White House and making him the 47th president of the United States.

You must be joking. All the other countries with worse economies have either voted out their incumbents or rebuked them severely in elections. The UK, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, and so on. It doesn't matter whether the incumbents are conservative or progressive. People - working people, not the affluent elites - are not happy about the economy and inflation, and they are voting their ruling parties out.
