And where is that ticker tape banner on top of the TV screen to show the leaders? Didn’t have it last year either. A flash of the top 2-3 in the lead for 15 seconds and then we’re back to some BS and commercials.
still wheelchair, haven't shown a step of runnning since my last message on this feed. now they've gone to women's wheelchair.

I'm watching on the TCS Marathon app. There's a dedicated stream to the men's or women's race. No commentary but there is also no wheelchairs!

It's so hard to watch this sport. Not only it's hard to find coverage but when you find it, the coverage is appalling.
I will not be surprised if at some points pros start to employ personal camera crew to follow them and record the action. Maybe not broadcast it live, but they can make a pretty badass post race movie about it. Something running media just can't do and won't do.
I don't know if this has been asked, but who is that tall lady in the pack?
Anyone else wondering why Des Linden or Jenny Simpson would be included in an elite marathon field anymore? I couldn't imagine paying them an appearance fee.

Fabienne Schlumpf. I think she's Swiss. She's only 6ft tall. Everyone else in the race is a midget.
Popehn needs to just take off at the half and drive it all the way to the finish. She's in great shape but not going to be able to show it in a tactical race like this.

There are 21 together at halfway on 2.28 pace. surely 15 of them will negative split this?
The men’s wheelchair last mile was compelling, this women’s finish not so much. I’d be madder about it, but it’s a jogfest in both elite races.
