You have no clue what you’re talking about. Vin sued the USATF to get his got back using his own money in order to feed his ego. Vin is past his prime and it’s time to move on. At this point Vin’s bad outweighs anything he did good. He’s been corrupt his entire career and it’s been getting worse and worse with age.
What a stupid post. Just empty unsubstantiated accusations and judgements with no basis in reality.
The indisputable truth is the Virginia program is in a better position now with Vin as its coach than it was before he got there. Cope and seethe, haters!

He spent much more then 100k to keep his volunteer job. It shows you what kind of ego Vin has
It was pro bono - costs. No track coach could afford to pay that firm.
This just proves people don’t know anything. He was triple dipping and making more than you could Imagine. This was part of the drama of him getting booted from Nike/Oregon. He has plenty of money and an ego to feed. His Lies caught up to him and got the big boot

Not taking a side on good guy/bad guy, but you don’t have a clue about lawyer billing rates in firms like the one that represented him. The complaint was signed by a partner at Cooley LLP - those people charge in the $1,000-$2,000 range. <https://bticonsulting.com/themadclientist/the-highest-rate-firms-2018> The thing went on for a year and a half and there was an CAS evidentiary hearing that probably took a couple days. Half a million at least. No track coach could afford that regardless of ego let alone sanity. Somebody stepped up so he could stand up to a USATF move that was illegal.
