Yep. Splits say Grangier is now only 6-7 mins back of Jim! He is killing it right now.

Yeah, that was right, cuz I saw it on cam.

Don't know where it is now. 6 or 7 according to the map, but that's probably wrong, cuz they said it was 7 or 8 at the top, and it was only 4.

That one's definitely wrong. No way he's that close.

Looks like YouTuber Ben Parkes has dropped out for the second year in a row at the 11 hour / 50km mark. Dude can't catch a break (or complete a race it seems).

I think he was more like 12 back at the top.

He's a head case.

Graingier just disappeared from the tracker. Did he ascend to heaven?

Zach filled a bottle, drank it dry, then filled it again, and left. Also did a cool spin move on the way in to the aid station. I’m not sure what to think anymore..

Jim now 9 minutes back at 113km aid station.

Americans 1-2. Can they hold this. They've been up here before and faded so who knows.

40 miles to go, Zach is 17 minutes ahead according to the tracker. Jim needs to get 30s/mile faster to win, or bank on miller fading…

Wow. Almost 10 mins coming in. And Zach had a quicker stop, so ~10:30 coming out.

Hard to imagine Zach's not gonna have a spectacular blow-up on one of the last few climbs, but who knows?

Nope. He passed him back, and in any case, they're both gaining on Zach. Great race in store.

Walmsley's gone past Zach and been in the lead for maybe 10 minutes now... I was watching the tracker and Jim was quite a ways back at the top of the last pass with Germain. When I looked at the tracker again, it looked like he had closed the gap in no time and had gone past Zach. Then the live feed confirmed it a few minutes later. Hope he didn't take that downhill too fast - still hours to go.
