Poor race by Johnson. Where was the effort?

Was her PB and she advanced unexpectedly. For her it's a big deal, like winning.

No strength. Poorly trained. Not enough strength work. It finally caught up with her.

This 2nd heat of the 1500 is nasty. It could be the final

Why did they interview Corey Mcgee? They should have used that time to show Sinclaire Johnson a replay of the race and repeatedly ask her why she sucks.

Does the second heat seem unfairly loaded?

10000 conditions won't be quite as bad as tokyo, where dew point was at 73, but it will be similarly tough. mid to high 27's seem a given. I would ballpark 14:30 for first half of race.

Heats are way out of balance in terms of talent.

Why are the semifinals so unbalanced?

Do they always start 1500s in lane 3? I see why it makes sense but I dont recall seeing it before. Is it each meet's choice?

If Lyles is even with the lead at 50m it's his title. Although the 2nd half Hughes' race is also his strength. I'm really interested to see if Seville can duplicate that first 50 from the semi. I've been told Oblique's camp have been waiting for him to have a breakout race for 3 years now. Not just 9.7x. I keep hearing 9.6x. That semi was the first time I didn't think of the prospect of Seville running under 9.7 as proposperous. His team has insisted for sometime now that he's that good. I hope we get Seville out with an early big lead and Lyles and Hughes having to run him down. Fireworks

You gotta love the "LIVE" results on the WA site. We got a 100m split in the 1500, and that's all i've seen for several minutes.
