    I think what will be most interesting is how he trains for the longer distances. Will he change what does? How will his body and mind respond?

    We need to understand that he’s been training the same exact way since he was 8. What happens when he adds in 20 milers? Does he continue double thresholds?

    His training adaptation to the new stimulus will affect his success at those longer distances imo.
