I disagree. Valby will lead it, or Olemomoi. When has Valby not run to the front?
agree - if Valby doesnt lead at fast pace she could get 4th in a heartbeat. Gregory is listed in mile as well as 3000, and is also a key piece of their DMR. Something has to give, although ~4 hours between mile heat and dmr, but only 2 between mile final and 3000 - on back to back days seems like a lot.
Yeah that's alot. Unless she wants to do the mile dmr double at nationals she should prioritize the dmr/ 3k, she's not qualified right now.
Wow! wasn’t aware that they lost 6 seconds on the 400. That would in itself make you uncompetitive. Tuohy shouldn’t have been put into the position of making up what looked like half of a lap. Like Prefontaine, she left it all on the track…and it showed on her face.
Posted this on the other thread but Bush ran the 3rd fastest 800 in the field.
Bush and Tuohy did very well, especially Tuohy…her 4:23.3 translates to a 4:05 indoor 1500 mark with a possible 4:02/4:03 outdoors. This would give her the sought after World Standard she was seeking. Now she needs to show this effort during an outdoor 1500 this season and just watch the floodgates open to the pro contract pursuits during the summer or end of year.

I was looking for a Big 12 Indoor thread but I guess this is it. Hopefully Cook's not injured. She DNF'd a 3k a few weeks ago. Roe in three events? Looks like McCabe's not messing with the mile this year.
Heat sheets upRight now, OSU has Tayor Roe listed for the mile prelims at 4:10, the 5000 at 7:50, and the DMR at 8:40 on Friday, along with the mile final at 3:40 and the 3000 at 5:50 on Saturday. I doubt she is doing all thr...
So, UVA was DQ'ed in DMR..and yes I can read,,for starting a leg "Outside "of the exchange zone? Really? 12 to 400? Other or 4 to 8? Makes little sense? Plus they won by .5 and taken down?
On that Men's 5K? Thats inexcusable..in a race that slow..there are tons of spots to make up that time..until I guess..last 1200? They had to know they were way off?

8:45 at 5000 they were already past the point of beating 13:50 imho.

The results online say status Protest - what's going ?!
Nothing jumped out at me in any of the 3 heats other than I saw one of Bush's elbows (she swings a lot) hit a ND runner once I think
I didn't see anything significant either. Hartman took out the final heat so quickly she eventually dragged the field with her and therefore most of the time qualifiers came from that heat, even though I think some from the slower heats looked more talented.
Maybe the only thing I remember is Frias from Duke stumbling around the final turn and losing contact with the 3 in front of her. I didn't think she was impeded.

Looking at ACC results and Maatuog did run the 800 prelim in a fast time so I guess she runs the final tomorrow.
