Her book is probably quite good in terms of exposition but her grammar issues are a concern. The running world is probably very insular and network-y so that is probably how she got published. It's also a niche sport. In one of her tweets, it says some bookstores have sold out of her books.

Does everyone realize the duo had a podcast entitled, "Work, Play, Love with Lauren Fleshman and Jesse Thomas.'
I guess they should retitle is, "Word, play and divorce."

You bring up legit points. Blogsnark usually calls out stuff like this as well.
I believe social can be used for good; but it brings out the worst in people who are prone to seeking attention to begin with.
It's kind of funny that for her coming out announcement she dressed up as "lesbian" but for the book promotion pictures she's dressed up as "wife".

So much for that. Sounds all fake.
Their podcast was actually really good, but they stopped doing it over the last year or so. They were open about their relationship issues on the podcast so they weren’t really faking anything. The fact that they stopped recording regularly, which they claim was the book and busy schedule, I guess you could take as when the divorce also started becoming a part of the conversation. Lauren’s bi-sexuality has also been a new development post recordings.
This a big part of why I’m not on Instagram and also have L.F., KG, Magness, and that Oiselle lady muted on my Twitter (some accounts that I follow really like all those people for some reason)
I'm upset because Lauren was part of one the articles I wrote, yet she would not connect with me. So, I have a bias. I mean Track & Field is not Sports Illustrated.
It sounds egoistic, as there’s no commitment to each other in such marriage. How romantic to marry for as long as no hard times hit. Do you actually find this far more reasonable?

The self-absorption continues. How many times is she going to come out? How do we think her kids feel about her bragging about her self-absorption.
I had my first Pride experience since coming out at Bend Winter Pride over the weekend. The dancing! The outfits! The winter recreation! The beauty of people being themselves! I loved it so much.
The comments praising her really are too much for me. Way too much praise for her being "authentic self". How about some criticism for abandoning her marriage commitment?

She married the guy she fell for young. She therefore regrets not having experienced more out there. Classic midlife crisis. Let's not sell this as a heroic LGBTQ coming out story.

I think the difference is gender....men are understood by all to be basically dogs...it's just what they are. What is implied there... is the ability to be themselves. TO not be constrained.
Women feel more constrained...that they have to be a certain way. Women mostly feel men are not constrained in any similar way.
Therefore when a woman breaks free of normie limits like Fleshman just did, other women cheer. Like when inmates might cheer if one of them makes it over the wall and escapes.
There's no real equivalent with men.
This is why women are so vociferously for transgender what not...they like the idea of transgression away from the rules that hem them in.
