Great Oak coach is learning. 20 second spread between 1-5. They are tight packed just like that 2019 team.
When the merger comes out they will be number two and going to NXN.
Yeah she’s off to a good start and helps them peak
I expected much more from the girls though. They lost almost no one. And some sophomores stepped up
I don't think she helped them peak really. This is the same team that was pre-season number two based on their roster, but they have been hit by injuries and illness all year. I have said a few times on this board not to count them out, they still have the roster to put it together. I think you just basically saw their team finally at full strength. No doubt they were mentally and physically ready to get it done today, and that is part of coaching.

Yeah Great Oak returned 4 guys from last year, added Lennox (who was #1 on the team in his class in 2020), and Rodriguez stepped up

and so much depth last year and this year
Lennox was the one who skipped Xc last year
wonder what their future looks like
next year it’s looking to be 2 Rodriguez and 2 Brown brothers on varsity
definitely one of the darkhorses next year. Better than NP next year for sure
D2 looking like the strongest division time wise for the girls. Could see both NP and Los Altos getting to NXN if there are 2 at large berths
Compolindo in D3 may get second after the merger. Their 5 average 18:26. Their 5th 18:57. Los Altos 18:28. Their 5th 18:55. Los Altos #1 L . Soobrian did not run well.
Buchanan dominated with a 17:55 average.
I believe Compolindo and Los Altos are going to NXN if an at-large comes out of California,

Even if NP girls team doesn’t make NXN, we have to give them credit for how much effort they put in.
They lost McDonnell, Darley, Nygren (all scorers). Spaulding having a disappointing season, and Brotcke has an off race.
All that and they still put together a great season
