I used to work at the Arclight movie theater in Hollywood. Met lots of my heroes.
Leonard Cohen was nice and polite.
James Woods is super nice and was nice about me screwing up his popcorn order.
Adam Carola seemed to be slightly annoyed I yelled "Get it on Ace!" (his catch phrase) at him when he was with his wife but he replied with a "thanks for listening!"
Seth Rogan was nice and casual vibe.
Snoop Dawg also very friendly towards his fans.
Megan Fox was super sweet and gave me much applause for being the movie greeter when she saw a flick with her kid. Probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in person. I was stunned before I recognized her and then a co-worker pointed out who she is.
Fred Durst ordered about $40-50 worth of food for his party and paid 100 and told me to keep the tip.
Bill Burr was a coolest and took the time to chat for a second. I embarrassed the crap out of myself because he introduced is wife Mia and I kind of froze cos I was sort of shocked this super pasty ginger has a got very pretty black wife. I sincerely hope he didn't take offense to my response to meeting his wife.
Someone mocked DL on another podcast for saying she was awkward and not well-dressed either, but is that true?
She seemed nice though in the group, like you said. She was on a NYT panel about women's running issues and was well-spoken.
HOW was she rude individually?
I think DL matches the profile in the original post better than anyone else.
Thanks for the clarification. I remember seeing her at the NYT panel and she seemed quiet, but not rude. Maybe she's just introverted. But someone mentioned a few months ago DL was not well-dressed and awkward. I don't think runners as a whole (both genders) care much about fashion lol
Many people know that it is Desiree Linden. She treats people horribly when she is not put up in front of the public by a sponsor.
You know how the public was shocked with Will Smith because we all thought we knew him because of how he normally presents himself in public. Just like that.
That then makes sense, she had to behave herself in NYC on the running panel. It was a discussion with women like her, Allie Kieffer, Mary Cain and others about body image (actually a very good discussion). Des may just be introverted though, and need time to socially recharge after being around big groups of people. I can be that way sometimes even though I can also be extroverted too at times.
