Did Kitata drop off? He usually runs well when he runs with Kipchoge, but when he goes to a marathon without Kipchoge, his pace isn't steady and seem to go faster/slower often.

43:16 at 15k. 2:01:45(?) pace. The wrong turn in the last 5K probably added 5 to 8 seconds.
