I think you're confusing this concept with greed. People are not really innately greedy and there is no biological prerogative for it. Rather, people will compete to be the "best" in the group through social recognition. This may include wealth, but can also include doing good deeds, inventing things, and achieving more education.
Hey, bub. That may be true enough most everywhere, but this place i live in is like flip city, mashoogi, right out of our heads. Honestly, that is not things work around here. At all. PRobably why everyone feels some need to put us in our places.
