Yep. Sally is a Trumper. He supported him and voted for him. Unless he states it was a mistake to do so and regrets doing so like my in-laws did, he keeps the Trumper label. Trump is not a conservative. REAL conservatives like George Will and John Kasich abandoned him long ago.

Again, that is a difference of opinion that I WILL accept. You have very solid reasons for saying so. I maintain that evidence of stupidity is based on one's actions and that being stupid isn't a forever thing, SO, if you end the action that defined you as stupid, ESPECIALLY if you admit it was wrong and you regret ever doing it (like my in-laws did), that you cease being stupid. What my in-laws did shows both learning and contrition...these are things that are qualities of smart people.

Now, in a person's case like Ted Cruz, he is just flat out lying now that he has disagreed with Trump's rhetoric for 4 years.

Earlier, someone posted video of a Trump "watch party" where the Trumps and others were supposedly watching the riots and cheering them on.

I don't remember anyone correcting the record on this thread so I'll do it now. The video in question was shot before Trump took the stage that morning. They were not watching the riots.

The whole narrative has been thoroughly debunked.

That being said, I look forward to hearing from eyewitnesses who were with Trump during the riots who can report as to his state of mind. I suspect they will be called to testify at the impeachment hearings.

Is Senator Ben Sasse a good enough eyewitness for you. You need to realize that Trump was surrounded by his loyalists, and you want them to prove to you his state of mind. Is Sasse a RINO whose eyewitnessing can be ignored?

There are reports that Trump was excited by the riots and was trying to call senators to delay or change the results while his minions were marching on the Capitol.
