Yes, yes. I've already seen your definitions.
By those standards the vast majority of us are stupid, or are you perhaps trying to convince me that the vast majority of people don't make a stupid decision in their lives?
If so, I can some what agree to the vast majority of humans being stupid, as most of us, including democrats, seem to prioritize comfort over leaving a habitable globe for our children.
I suspect that's not what you mean by being stupid however.
But jobs and abortion:
1) Saying it is VERY STUPID to think he would create more jobs than Biden is unnuanced at best as until the pandemic hit, there was actually more jobs created during Trumps precidency than what Obama did (with Biden as vice-president) in his first term.
After seeing how the politicians, including democrats, have helped deindustrialize large parts of the US while letting the rich get richer, I can see that it's possible to vote for Trump, the non-politician, that did infact create jobs and introduced tariffs on many imported goods from China.
I don't agree of course, as you would have to disregard that he makes the super rich even richer through tax reliefs than what the democrats probably would have done (and lots of other stuff), but I can definately see that a combination of desperation and anger at politicians would lead you to prefer Trump.
Atleast he has a different approach than pretty much all other politicians. (Good enough if you're desperate enough)
Thinking about covid-19 or the environment is a luxury many people in the USA can't afford.
2) If you are hard core pro-life, you could argue that there are over 600 000 preventable deaths in the US yearly.
If this issue is important enough for you, you might overlook other flaws, like him being racist and allowing possibly a similar number of people dying of covid.
You and I might not understand how an issue like that can be THAT important, but that doesn't neccecarily mean that they are unintelligent, dulled in feeling or lacking interest or point, but rather that they simply have a different value system.
Personally I happen to think that voting Trump is extremely careless, but dividing Trumpsters into three camps: stupid, racist or both is quite simplistic and even quite stupid in my opinion.
Not only is it extremely unfruitful if you hope to make USA heal to some degree, but it's also an extreme black and white way of thinking.
Again, I agree, unfortunately, that a significant portion of Trump voters are stupid or racist...
By the way, you can also vote Trump for purely selfish reasons without being stupid or racist.
For me, these guys are just as bad as the racists, if not worse, because they just don't care about others. (I'd argue racists are somewhat stupid by definition)
