When I don't want my picture taken I put my hand up, get out of the way, or stop the person from taking the picture. This officer just stood there. He was participating.

I start with the strong presumption that the Capitol police are not racists, and did not knowingly treat the rioters yesterday differently than BLM rioters from all their riots in DC and other cities. Then I factor in that, at least yesterday, members of Congress who were there, and also Joe Biden, did not question the bravery, job performance or motives of the Capitol police, and in fact commended them. Then I looked at the evidence you provided in forming your opinion that the Capitol police are racists and did act in a racist manner, and it did not convince me that they are. So that's where I'm at.

We don't know the circumstances. Why the cop was not actively arresting people at the moment is unknown. But it would have been stupid to escalate the situation if he wasn't prepared to make an arrest. So he just stood there. As far as anyone can tell from the clip, he did his job correctly.
And the bottom line is that the cop was not in any way giving aid and comfort to the rioters. If that really happened, I want to see proof.

But now she gets backlash for resigning in protest. Trump has forced everyone in his administration to pick a side. Chao chose against Trump.

The Senate Sergeant at Arms will be fired. It is his job to get the Capitol Police to do their jobs. He has some bad apples on the force. Apples so bad they opened to gates for the rioters. Check the video out below and watch on the right as an arm in black comes out on the police side and pulls the gate opened. No rioters were opposite side yet, and an arm would not be pulling backwards unless it was one of the police. Intentional? Trying to diffuse the situation? Of ignorance because it lead to an attack on the building and a death.

Yeah, right. We're all experienced enough with internet message board arguments to see you trying to dance around your allegation of racism, while trying not to actually use the word. The issue is whether the Capital police are racists and acted in a racist manner. If you don't think they are, why are even asking me anything about it? I've been as clear that I don't think the Capitol police are racist, and nothing you went out of your way to post trying to show that they are racist, changed my mind.
The only waffling here is you, immediately above. Do you or don't you think the Capital police were acting racist yesterday? Wouldn't that be the ONLY conclusion to be drawn if you agree with Biden's statement? There's no way to nuance your way around that, for whatever weird reason that you seem to want to.

One Trumper shot and died.
Three Trumpers died of self-inflicted reasons. Mob casualties. Cardiac arrest and falling from climbing scaffolding to riot.
Trumpers gassed, beaten with police clubs, or shot with rubber bullets. None.
