You repeated what I said. There is no supply chain for Trumpers to kill democracy. A supply chain needs 24 hour protection. A supply chain would hundreds of miles long and require protection.

Any MA/GA doing assassinations will never make back to melt into society like it never happened. Do you really believe that they can get away with that?

A take over of Homeland Security is not happening. Trump's only option is to eliminate Homeland Security and tell his Trumper rioters that they are his new Homeland Security force, and they are required to arm, feed, and pay themselves, because he can't do any of those.

In other news: Trump will exceed 400,000 COVID deaths before January 20th.

on Trump's birthday, 2021, 6 state houses are invaded and held.

Republicans are released, Dems are held hostage for a week. Maybe some are killed.

Homes of Democratic leadership are firebombed.

Rumors abound of a national guard unit aiding and abetting. Doesn't matter if it's true. No one knows what is happening but it all seems to be getting worse and it's not clear how many LEOs are on the side of the m/gas.

At the same time, Iran and North Korea coordinate to take advantage of our chaos and stage coordinated nuclear-capable missile tests. Things start getting blown up in America - by foreigners or white americans?

States start declaring curfews, but they fail.

The WH has to act or seem feckless.

I'm not saying democracy will end in america

I share the general view that history is messy and things like this are brushed back by the massive current of history.

BUT

A democracy cannot stand when 70 million or more people actively and willingly believe lies, and politicians learn that they will not be punished for lying to the people. Democracy only works if we vote out the bad apples.

The R party has learned this lesson and will apply it.

The key questions:

Are the Dems competent enough at politics to defeat the lying Rs?

Will a new Trump rise to lead the m/gas?

How exactly has the US fared against guerilla forces in the past? I don't think it will ever come to a full-on war between the military and its citizens but I think you underestimate the power that a guerilla-type outfit really has.

Also, why do people always assume that those in the military would automatically take the side of someone like Biden, especially as those on the left continually disparage the military on a regular basis.
