It started at 7 am. There is no early start. Remember, this is not one of PMs races. There are rules and structure here it seems. I also noticed the cut-off time was 7 hours. Which means PM likely did not have enough time to complete the final lap if she was on lap 8 when she decided to head to the finish line.

This comes across as a bit defensive. Why would a marathon have an early start? I doubt they do.

I saw that photo before the permissions changed, and Larry was definitely in it along with a bunch of other folks. But, PM was NOT in it. Probably 15ish folks in the pic- so enough, but not enough to miss our favorite blond I Ran RD. Didn't see Steve either.

If LM ran a lap or 2 with PM, that's great, but if she took the "regular" start and finished 20 minutes behind a guy that took the early start, that makes NO Sense! Sounds like she missed a lap or 2. I just have to chime in on this "early start" explaining anything:

Stop battling and wasting your time on the "early start" theory - it doesn't even matter. If there was an early start and these people used it and the runners still passed them, then there is no way the purported cheaters would have finished before them in either physical finish nor timed finish.

Let me say it clearly and then everybody can move on: The early start theory (whether true or not) cannot explain any of the reported cheating/finishing. Just recognize it as a distraction by grasping for straws.

1) PM is not a maniac.

2) So now she must have started at 5 am to account for someone passing her twice yet basically finishing at the same time? The reasoning keeps getting stretched here.

3) I do not believe anyone was allowed an early start.

So you are suggesting there was a secret early start time for Maniacs that resulted in reported results that used the later gun time. Well that would be a novel way to organize a race and post results. Not to mention the fact that I saw her near registration when I was getting my bib ~6:40 am.

When/if the RD confirms that is the case, I will absolutely apologize and admit I jumped to conclusions.

How do we know you were really there? In a court of law you would have to identify yourself to the accused rather than making an anonymous accusation.

Please, if you are going to make an accusation then tell us who you are.

The RD has all of my information, there is no need for me to post it to the world.

And I have just heard back from the RD. They are investigating and will try to confirm that all nine laps were completed by LM and PM. He also said that there was a group of runners who requested an early start and that Larry Macon may have been in that group. I will assume that is the case pending further information to the contrary. I apologize to Mr. Macon and fully admit that I jumped to conclusions based on the pace I saw and the reported time of 5:50.

With respect to PM, there was no mention that she was part of the early start so I will wait for the conclusion of the investigation.

Because Parvaneh Moayedi is making money off of her (cheating) accomplishments. Not just cheating, but profiting from her cheating. She needs to be stopped.

Because Parvaneh Moayedi is making money off of her (cheating) accomplishments. Not just cheating, but profiting from her cheating. She needs to be stopped.

^^^Exactly. She's running a marathon business charging people money for races. I assume there are some poor unwitting soules who have paid $ for these races, and they now have a pall cast over their legit run times b/c of all her false results, fake names, fake times, etc. She's getting sponsorships from a variety of companies she happily thanks on her website.
